Dear anxiety
Nemesis to my reality,
mental manipulator of tentative trust,
massacring my once sagacious soul -
you cut me into a slice of loneliness.

The fault is in our thoughts,
so I am haunted by the things you never said.
You remain silent to society's subjective eyes,
but a glimpse of a poet's soul shivers,
to these vivid verses held by ghosts -
echoing a repetitive chorus in a cathedral of screams.

I'm an uninvited guest in an audience with you,
so I drink poison in every line I write about you.
These words burn my vocal chords,
but I swallow them anyway,
as my paper heart pumps onyx drops
crying through my veins to heartache's recital
of an infected celestial mind yearning for a remedy.
But life is a cupid cruelty in dulcet disguise,
when your heart is a sinister seashell,
oblivious to potions of omen brewed in pigments of pixie-dust.

You're an unwelcome melody to my mystic,
composing an internal deadly demeanour.
I am the ink stuck in your cage,
dissolving like acid in your controlled carnage,
confined to trembling bleeding intuitions,
lost in corridors of horrific obscure mirrors,
whilst paranoia palpitates in a whirling haze of
magnetic ice warmth, melting my sanity,
amidst crumbling stars that lure cavernous comets
of silver grief to pirouette above frozen seas draped with
a fluorescent creme of skies.
As oceanic tides of topaz rise and fall,
flatlined into pewter streams of emptiness.
The moon coruscates in coral blue lies,
passing through intractable phases of trepidation,
abandoning light in black tourmaline nights -
pivoting into a psychedelic trance.

Rainbows fade before we can embrace
their colorful showers drizzling jade jewels
that rhyme with kaleidoscopic kismet,
as life through rose coloured lenses turns
into a provisional poetic manifestation.

If only I could escape this self-inflicted dungeon,
but you pursue like a perpetual predator.
I'll forever expose your oppression through my poems,
confessing how I never asked for this enforced affair.
I know I'm my own storm, I'm my own calm -
I just hope this is the last time I write about you.

Premium Member Mom I Love You

My eyes follow as my left hand orchestrates my thoughts with an ink pen
Of memories, past and present, good and bad that you have embedded within
My heart palpitates when you are near as you billow with love again and again

I promise to be with you in the stormy weather as the dark skies descend

Live life every sec, min, and hour with you without fearing when our time will end
Oh what a blessing you have been to me amongst endless pain, agony and sin
Verily I say, thanks for the seed that has formed my vital structures to speak herein
Everyday is a new beginning, yet you continue to march along the strongest wind

Yield not from my heart, for you are the cause and effect of beast becoming men
Others have gone before you, lead the way for your hands were made to lend
Unending love and protection you have as long as I'm your Officer and Gentle-Men

Premium Member No Purpose Pulses

My flesh is flush with inadequacy each day
for no purpose pulses inspiration my way

No motivation shows to validate
	that my energy even palpitates -
I am a daytime deficiency breathing.
All things seem possible before I sleep
 	then night’s energy sun fades into lethargy:
I rise to flounder, flail and fail to move so never do I see the
me that my prayers and hopes wish new days would promote.
	Has karma woven my desires revoked
	or am I now a bad aging type of joke?
I cannot grope life’s enthusiasm
	nor can I fathom what has happened,
		but I am sad that my self-esteem’s armor
			has been pierced by darkness infused drama …

home clocks loud mock me
as moments find me unchanged
just aged within ticks
tocking my stopped impetus
in passion’s puddled blandness

Premium Member I Live Zealously Breathless

"Being alone with Spirit lifts souls with gifts of joy for hearts and light for eyes." Poet

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Whether I am embracing joy or buried in strife,
Your presence has been clear to me all of my life.
Through all years, I have sought to feel You even more
so truth continuously cements firmer within my core.
Your closeness - my awareness ~ I live zealously breathless
Whenever I need and seek precious time alone with You,
I close my eyes so all of the world leaves my view.
Focusing on a tiny white spot grows an ethereal light.
I see and feel vibrations pulsed exquisitely bright.
Your closeness - my awareness ~ I live zealously breathless
Within my chest palpitates a genuine, stupendous high
unlike any intoxication to be felt on earth's side of sky.
It is no longer air that I breathe, but Your glory I inhale.
You lovingly wrap me serene in glimpses of divine detail.
Your closeness - my awareness ~ I live zealously breathless
He's In My Blood
I want to reach out to touch him
Feel his skin on my skin
Burning me,loving me
In the aftermath of the tide
That washes over me
I need to hold him so close
That we are one person
Eyes wide open
Tasting tender lips
Breath upon breath
I smell his cologne on my skin
Feel my fingertips on his thigh
His words sweeten the air
As he murmurs delicious
Heat into my ear
He caresses my soul
Palpitates my heart
Like a tiny frail bird
In his hands
His touch is a feather
He is the missing piece indeed
That completes the puzzle of me
He reads my mind as he stuns
With his fiery touch
I welcome his heat and match it
With my own unfettered passion
Long after we have spent our love
I lie in his embrace and know
His blood's in my blood
Coursing through me
Premium Member Sunday Morn
quiet Sunday morn,
up at my usual time —
it’s one hour early.
grandson and husband sleeping
i read and write in silence.
i’ve hardly looked up —
no hesitation breathing.
yes, God’s good that way.
my heart palpitates
in caffeinated language.
the poetic muse
with socks and mismatched pjs —
washbasin of thoughts.
the silky water is pure
barely moving through fingers.
the dove does not hurry time, no predators — sailboat peacefully glides…
The Bodyguard Who Outsmarted the Queen-Once Upon a Time
Locked in the largest room of the  palace,
you live days in dire existence,
sunshine caresses you with sun rays,
breeze makes you breathe life;
anything at the swish of a wand is
given to you, lonely princess of Wales!
He has no loyal blood in him,
and as many children as you desire,
He can give you-at least two.
A boy who looks exactly like him,
a girl as gorgeous as you...
he can feel inside you'll be his.
Your jealous Queen, can scream her brain out
and tell you, " I don't like that bodyguard is a joker;
he's too poor and childish, he thinks he's another prince,
but he has nothing to give you...stay in your room,
silly Rapunzel! He won't ever climb to this balcony:
your hair is too short and brittle! How can he do that? "
You'll try to convince her that he is a great guy,
" But mom, he loves me more than anybody! "
" Love without money is a tree without fruit!
Riches can buy many jewels! You're the next Queen!
Her anger will shout her up and all will turn to gloom...
while he waits outside and freezing he rubs his red hands.
Her slickness won't last, she must have a weak spot;
if he courts her with his boyish charms, she'll become soft
and forget that a pretty princess adores him and woos him.
" I got her on my strings...she'll be my animated puppet!"
Infatuation can be blinder than love; he will get her very drunk,
and have her thinking for a minute that she can have him!
The princess and the bodyguard hug; they laugh aloud...
while the Queen sleeps on the sofa and snores, " She's too drunk,
let her sleep for hours; we are going to elope and live happily!
Ah! Such an unfair and vain mother she is! She'll realize that
even money isn't everything...if love palpitates in the heart! "
Try out his trick: be that bodyguard who outsmarted
the Queen and if you get lucky, you must thank him "
Premium Member Love Is More- Valentine Day Limerick
They say love comes in a gush
I don’t believe all that mush
Not just a feeling…
Love is believing
There’s more to it than a rush
Your loved one gives you goose bumps
You see curves instead of lumps
Your heart palpitates
And sex satiates
Your life is coming up trumps!
But Love’s a decision too
When feelings get old not new
You think of your vow
Fulfill it somehow
And resolve to stick like glue
So when there are angry darts
Or when there are broken hearts
You think of that glow
You give love a go
And all the sorrow departs
Today is Valentine’s Day
Tease and please…now don’t delay
Revive that hot spark
Make love in the dark
Love’s the sweetest game to play.
My Dark World .
My  lass  has  forgotten  me
And,  does  not  visit   anymore.
Even  my  closest  cronies '  ve  obviated  me,
Just  'cos  I'm  not  normal anymore.
I  curl  in  my  couch , and, think   of our  friendship,
And  my  bosom  sketches her  lovely face.
I'm  unable to  forget  our  romantic  relationship,
And trickles  of  tears  moisten  my  face.
Now, only  my  dog  keeps  company  with  me,
And, my  paths  are  guided  by  the  white-cane.
Oh! I  urgently  need  Man's  company
But, my  wish  cannot  be  heard , by  my  friends  and  Jane.
I'm  marooned  in  a  deep  dark  pit:
An  endless dark  which  palpitates  my  heart.
I  wish  that  someone  would come  into  my  life and  resusitate  it,
Or  my  life  will  be  restless , until  I  depart
I'm  now  considered  as  a  discarded  coke-tin
And, my  mental  beauty  is  disregarded  by  these  men.
Useless  is  a  life  without  the  warmth  of  kith  and  kin,
And  my  jeramaid  life  cannot  be  fully  expressed, by  this  pen.
Smiles In a Coffee House
Behind the barricade of books and papers,
In the earthy rise of espresso grinding,
  Misty jets and the steaming milk,
  Lavish scents and aromas black and silk;
Until the senses swim in their filters,
Percolated with velveteen sound and vision,
  The caffeine palpitates from sip to vein,
  Condensation accrues on the stencilled pane.
Across the babble and bubble of prose
Quoted and blown like froth from the cups,
  Tinkling silverware, china rapping,
  Rose red nails upon cedar-wood, tapping.
When the smile breaks from a private jest,
Or something her cellphone lover said,
  Like the sun coming out in a rain-forest mist
  Lips of a goddess that beg to be kissed;
I feel like a trespasser, a casual voyeur,
Yet my gaze cannot leave her Brazillian eyes,
  Americano heat flares in my heart suddenly,
  And I wish, how I wish, she were smiling for me.
My Muse Has Gone To Hades
My muse has gone to Hades, is that hell?
I   sing for her  while my heart palpitates
Wow, I’ll be  in  demonic  space as well
I think my little cat has  lost her bell.
On my plight, I sit and meditate
My muse has gone to Hades, is it hell?
The cat can’t phone, if only she could  yell.
I  hear my thoughts  and manic,  agitate.
Soon I’ll be  in  demonic  space as well
I wish that animals could use a cell.
All they can do is eat and procreate
My muse has gone to Hades, Villa Knell
I hear that poets should show but never tell
All I can do  with wit is cogitate.
Will  I fly to inner  space as well?
I earn enough,more than the going rate
I use black pens and you should see my state
My muse has gone to Hades,  give her hell
Oh,  I  am   lured to  ink dark  space as well!
Dessert
When I think of decadent desserts
it assails my senses and I go berserk
tantalizing, surprising, flavors entice beyond compare
staring at the compilation of assortments are so unfair
So many to choose from
I stop and stare
what do I do
I turn to you and follow you through
hot and flavorful my senses bemoan
these tasty morsels are for the full-grown
taunting and teasing heart palpitates on a roll
spiraling and spinning until it's tantamount and out of control
expecting the taste to burn into my mind
as I try to find some balance not to define
was dessert all you expected it to be
the climatic source of ecstasy
let me now reminisce the taste of flavor
actuating in my brain
every time I taste  of the dessert
it will remind me again and again
this is serious biz
dessert is good and it is what it is
Crush
Butterrflies in my stomach
Each time I see you around
I have thousands of words to say
But have no courage to spill it on my own tongue
The world stops but time is going on
When you're next to me
I'm blushing inside
You walked in to me
My heart palpitates in a bit
This magnetic attraction to you
Something I want to savor every minute of my life
I do insane things because of you
I wrote your name at the back of my book
Thinking if love possibly collides us
Nevertheless it doesn't matter
As long as I see you smiling
What a beautiful day
Don't know when this feeling is going to end
Hate why I'm jealous, yes it's not my right.
But when I see you with someone else
My whole world is flooded with tears
But in my mind we are getting married
We build a family and live happily
I'm crazy but I'm loving it much
But I hope you never see it
My ultimate crush
Damascus
DAMASCUS
Your opinion palpitates
on and off.
Riding on the horse of
pride,
You stumble across
your soul.
Ignorant about the
chaplet of pride,
Creampuff due to horse
pleasure
You ditto to continue.
Angels are in
accordance
Whilst you ride on the
horse of pride
On the road to
Damascus.
A great  voice descends
on you
In the chambers of your
memory.
The tempest washes
your opinion away.
Even though you are
power drunk
And you are pride drunk,
Kiss goodbye to your
opinion,
Set out of your
opinion's hair
And dive into  a
humble opinion
As you have more than
one
String on your bow.
