Spooks were making love their bones were clattering
Fresh in after death sex they were a prattling
They missed the first session
How to spook the passion
And slipped to their graves skulls down saber rattling
Spooks were making love© Rajat Kanti Chakrabarty 14 November 2014
Those early days of passion when we went at it like rabbits
now long since have been replaced by crochet, crosswords and such habits.
A sudden wave of passion and straight up the stairs we tramp,
only to find when both undressed that one of us has cramp.
And changing our positions gets a knee thrust in the guts
or worse still there's that sudden scream from badly twisted nuts.
The last lap interrupted by the call of someone's bladder
or the window cleaner falling back in shock from off his ladder.
Those days of quiet bonding now replaced by loud commands
or the cursing from you rolling over, trapping both my hands.
The elegance of Karma Sutra that we used to know
now replaced by Sumo wrestling from a pair of buffaloes.
So nowadays when our urges flare we wonder do we risk it
and end up lying side by side with cups of tea and biscuits.
Should one of us find that we're now on all cylinders firing,
we'll have a hug and just hold hands-
since that is far less tiring.

We walked to the sand dunes
She whipped off her top
We made love in the sand
A co - worker and lover
Gone from the Earth now
She taught writing alongside me
at a community college
She came to my home and we
made love again
The years roll by
Lovers die
Friends, too
The things we take joy in
Will pass - never to come again
Will pass - never to come again
It's late at night,
Quicksilver Messinger Service plays,
We've just made love,
And all is right
I touch your check tenderly,
Run my fingers through your hair,
Which shines so splendidly,
You grasp me tighter
We are as one
Bliss, oh, sweet bliss
Without this love,
How I would miss
A reason for living...
A sip of sweet wine,
A cigarette,
The smoke of love,
Has not left me yet...
Purple room...
Purple Haze...
I'll always treasure,
Those golden days.
While gazing in her soft blue eyes,
a tender gentle smile
lights up her face like morn’s sunrise
and lingers there a while.
Her face so bright it lights the day
with thoughts of love it does convey.
Her face so bright…
her face so bright,
like guiding star it shows the way.
While gazing in her soft blue eyes
the rain begins to fall
from clouds above up in the skies
as nature makes her call.
They hold on tight in love’s embrace,
a feeling time cannot erase;
they hold on tight…
they hold on tight
as raindrops trickle down her face.
While gazing in her soft blue eyes
he gently kisses lips
eliciting her tender sighs;
her hands around his hips.
She holds him close in love’s refrain,
her carnal pleasure to obtain;
she holds him close…
she holds him close
while making love out in the rain.

This is something old Walter never talked about
But I wonder if Mickey and Minnie ever made out
Judging by their physiques, might have been quite a challenge
Can't you just imagine Mickey yelling out those bad words
Like, “golly” and “gee whiz" and "this is swell, Miss Minnie”
“You were g-r-r-r-r-e-a-a-a-a-t!!!”
Next time let's do it in your mousey hole*
(* Uh, that's where mousies live, you bad naughty people!”)
Okay I'll never be able to watch another Mickey Mouse cartoon again
Without the visual popping into my brain
Same with Donald and Daisy Duck!
Hope the kiddies never find out!!!

Poetry: Sentiments and words making love
Sentiments: the unspoken word lingering within
Making Love: Poetry of the mind and body
A mini collaboration with Eileen Manassian
Sometimes I write as if I'm an expert
When it comes to the subject of love
On the contrary, no one is an expert on love
Every encounter is like our very first
We are so afraid to stumble that we do stumble
We stumble over our words
We stumble trying to do all those romantic things
That all our lives we're programmed to do
But somehow it never quite works out as planned
As to what we envision love to be
No, I'm certainly no expert but I'll keep trying
That being said, the joys of love
Whether simple or complex far outweigh
Any lack of finesse that we might have
So do your own thing, there's no failing grade
Be creative in the art of making love!

In a world obsessed with sex
when it ends in misery
like it often does
What can they expect.
Call me old fashioned
but don't morals care and feelings matter any more
or is it just one foot in the bedroom
and one foot out of the door.
For me
I need more.
I need love
to feel loved
to give love
to make love.
Making love doesn't have to start
or finish in a bedroom
but anywhere
soft caring words an embrace a stroke of her hair
showing . some one how much you care.
Being alone
Sometimes I yearn just to hold someone
feel the warmth of her body
and kiss
that's something I really miss.
wrapped up in each others arms
by a warm log fire
on a cold winters day.
Watching a movie together
and listening to what each others has to say.
Giving caring sharing
and maybe something more daring.
Someone you can implicitly trust
faithful to quench your lust
a must.
Getting in bed is much sweeter
when you love your señorita
and just not for kicks.
Just as God planned
the love between a married woman
and married man.

In those brief moments when we have finished pleasing
each other's body the way only we know how:
whispering, touching, tickling, teasing;
we harness eternity and shrink it to now.
Your breasts, Tibetan monastaries guarding the skies,
still tingle from when I touched you there.
My seed escapes to the cavern of your thighs,
and our fragrance lingers heavy in the air.
Amazing love, so mature, so young,
creating memories to forever keep.
Your body remembers the map of tongue,
but this night will end when we roll over to sleep.
So here, now, before the end has begun,
let's remain in this union, melted as one.
Making Love Over the Rain
Have you ever made love on the beach in the sand?
Your mind is clear as white doves
fly above and the tides touch land
The melody is sweet
as your bodies stay in sync…
Making love over the rain
on this white sandy beach
Hear the rain coming down
as it hits the board walk;
No people in sight on this warm summer night
so the temptations are great…
making love over the rain
As your lips inter-lock so sweet
like the taste of great wine
Put a strawberry in the middle
Top it off, so divine
like you’re floating on cloud nine
The water dances off your bodies
to calm the fire down
The intensity is intriguing
as you’re breathing to the tempo
of the waves splashing
Up over your bodies
And this making love over the rain
has never been this exotic
Imaginations flowing
Daydreaming so intensely
Romanticizing the motions
of making love by this ocean
as we reach extreme inclinations
we can storm any weather
Cause’ we’re strong as the wind
as our bodies connect
like a parrot’s colorful feathers.

Sometimes
I wonder
Do you think of me?
I lie
So silently
Tears streaming down slow
Never
Have I loved
As strongly as now
I always forget I'm better at hiding than I realise
I expect people to see right through me,
I'm terrified of what they'll think
I'm especially terrified of you.
You should be able to read me like a book
When you don't, I'm amazed
When I told you, you looked like I'd slapped you
My world
It has changed
I was in your arms
Briefly
We melted
Lying in the rain
Your head
On my chest
Isn't a burden
I want you to wrap your arms around me
I want to feel your scruff on my cheek
I want to run my fingers through your hair
I want to make love in the rain.
You are the scariest thing that's happened
We should be lying next to each other
We should be sharing our art
Your song
My book and
My philosophy
We should
Leave this place
Find a safe venue
I would
Follow you
Privileged Presence
Was recalling us making love in the park
We should have waited at least until dark
A couple of people then a crowd did appear
Watching and giggling and giving a cheer
On the love making scale, we won top spot
We'd gone too far, we just couldn't stop
It's as if they were watching a sporting event
Till whammo, we lay panting and spent
They filed away as if after a game
Talking bout how we showed them no shame
Truth of the matter, we weren't aware
A crowd of onlookers had gathered and stared
Involved in an amazing moment of bliss
We carried on not a beat did we miss
A lesson we learned from that day in the park
Next time we'll surely wait until dark

In its own complexity
In this gesture of bonding
I am you
You are me
Nothing more
Nothing less
We gain
We lose
Each other
Within
Each other.
