Best Grin Poems
Green geisha grins
Charming the gentlemen
Eyes like chocolate pools
Drown in their sweetness
Their sweetness uniqueness
Able to sweep away grief
Smiling and styling
Dance romanced by
Graceful hands following
The glance of envy
Avoiding sin of selfish men
Entertaining in elegance
Geisha wrist gives a twist
Pouring hot tea delicately
With a sip from lotus lip
Chatter flatters intelligently
You will always wish
For a confetti kiss
Celebrated but not cheap
Not free.
"The Fresh Blooding of a Sexton Grin"
Guns ...
are for p*ssies
you know, short for
pussilanimous plural
Words …
are sharper
more cutting
more lethal
clean
concise
quill slicing the lucid flow
you can taste the blood
as you turn them
twist them further in
with valour
war cry bitten
you drive them deeper in
you unsheathe love
as a hard win,
victorious, won
ink blooms
potent power from
your stellar wounds
darkened roads
shining home
lux vitae dei vox
Home ...
morning star
quod scripsi scripsi
turns the light on
to birth puissant
in the majestic
seat of third eye
commanding
the truest titulus
initials glowing
arriving on cloudy tomes
perilously igniting
new fiery caims
swallowing
ouroboros tales
hear the battle cry
you were built
to withstand the fall
to more mighty again rise
the gauntlet
now well
and truly thrown
something
more darkly formidable
than shady insult sown
sink your new teeth in
fresh biting warrior
I christen you Boadicea
blood cup possessed
razor mind in you conjuring
the tongues of hearts to speak
there is no escape
for in you, I am and
I will always live
crucifying
all the wasting yesterdays
with fresh blooded promissory notes
staking claims of assurance
in the terror firmer
here to stay
sharpening
words taken
from a stone
n'ere a flowery
verbose drip
wasted
salting
the new cuts
to feel something vital
smiling within
fresh blooding
the Sexton grin

The opposition calls like intuition,
from down the halls to the master's kitchen.
Her knees are rocking cheddar cheese blocks,
and when she walks you hear Pop Rocks.
Her eyes are made of ribeye steaks.
Her lips are whipped cream topped chocolate cakes.
Her cheeks are stuffing with a gravy blush.
Her neck is a lamb chop, long and lush.
Her chest is dressed with fried chicken strips.
Her hips swivel with potato chips.
Her legs, saturated in maple bacon.
Her stomach, a malt drink, freshly shaken.
Her arms are sausage kabobs, super-sized.
Her ears are cream cookies, finely disguised.
Her hair boasts alfredo soaked spaghetti strands.
She holds a loaded potato with open hands.
She knows your struggles and echoes your taste,
never minding the size of your waist.
You want to break free and finally be thin,
but she follows you sweetly with that whipped topping grin.
Grin, for the gift of laughter
Grin, for the lift you’re after
Grin, to begin
With no cause
For chagrin
Grin, for the show you steal
Grin, for the glow that's real
Grin, for the spin
Of the song
You are in
Rush, to the food you’re missing
Gush, in the mood for kissing
Dream, once again
By the way
That you grin
Grin, for the joy of living
Grin, like a toy for giving
Grin, with a chin
That is proud
Of your skin
Grin, for the blues you shattered
Grin, for the news you mattered
Grin, for the win
That you get
From within
Life, is the sun we borrow
Strife, can be done tomorrow
Hate, is the sin
So please
Just, grin.
Grinning facetiously, frozen in
The moment, zealously enjoying frivolity,
With smile, ovaled wide-open mouthed, clean bright
Sparkling pearl white teeth ... all majestically a glow.
Fire powered with healthy purity.
Accompanied by a loud euphonious deep thundering
Voice, intensely roaring aloud ... louder
Almost deafening,
Exhilarate sounds of joy,
Part of the flash, exuberance and health in the moment.
Cheerful tears of uncontrollable glee
Ecstatically flowing, drop by drop,
Slow,
Into an loosely-defined pool of happiness,
To celebrate healthy blessedness.
The joy of the new 2011... with its uncertainty
An opportunity to review, rectify, and grow with hope.
Time to re-stoke the fire of faith
In all that we are
And with all that we have...

Sometimes life can get a little rough
“Grin And Bear It”
Or should that be “Grin and BARE It”
Sounds like good advice
Grinning and baring it can be a whole lot more fun
But make sure your friends have all gone home
And the kiddies are tucked away in their beds fast asleep
Before you and your mate start prancing around in the nude
Doing and saying all those naughty things
Like, “nice melons you have there my dear”
This starts the whole proceedings
She responds with, “nice frontal protrusion!”
Immediately, the fun begins and the house starts rockin'
All because you, “Grinned And Bared it!”

I go to church and say amen once a week
But in my boat and in my spot
I am much more patient, quiet, and meek
I toss my line it’s just the right shot!!
Again, I will say amen as the bass does grin a lot.

Beguiled are the victims of his sin.
Welcome! Welcome! To the Vultures Grin.
Using his charm and handsome good looks…
Don’t be fooled by the cover of this book.
He says he wears his heart on his sleeve…
It’s all part of his plan to win and deceive.
Be warned that behind that charming smile…
Is a bitter twisted soul that’s evil and vile.
The lies will flow as he’s mastered the art…
He’s gained your trust, now the games will start.
Behind closed doors where no one can see…
You will soon be trapped, you cannot flee.
What’s his is his, no sharing, no shame…
He will bleed you dry and defame your name.
The promises he makes are to miscue…
His words are twisted and to construe.
Ruffling his feathers while he picks at your soul…
It won’t be long till he consumes you whole.
After draining you of life he will throw you aside…
He will run like a coward, not even a goodbye.
I warn you now don’t trust this fool…
He’s mean, conceited and extremely cruel.
Turn and run fast, and run while you can…
The Vultures Grin is his master plan.
Shyly Loudly
Smiling Laughing
in the face of
Disapointment
Go Go
Little stuffed
Friend, open
Your arms
I'll cry
You'll hug the bad and
It will all
Go Away!
Dedicated to my mother. She insists that Teddy Bears make life bearable!
Have you ever seen a horsey grin
They've got humongous amounts of teeth
Their dentist bill must be atrocious
It's almost beyond belief
Whenever they get a toothache
They feel it right down to their hoofs
You can hear their screams over in China
They just about hit the roof
Really feel sorry for these equine types
They're usually such amiable sorts
They never complain if you're 300 pounds
They're such amazing good sports
Named him “Toothy”, this friend of mine
Tell him, “Brush those dentures real good!”
The cost of a plate of false teeth for horsies
Is astronomical in all likelihood

My friend is known for a horsey type grin
Along with his whinny, he can run like the wind
Through fields of clover
Don't mind his odour
Just hold onto your schnoz and try not to wince
Splendiferous songbirds begin
tweeting; just as the sun rises,
to avoid any surprises.
Like a whispering violin
or the touch of a gentle breeze;
their chirping sets my heart at ease.
Triggering an impulsive grin,
they take the time to greet the sun;
and celebrate a new day won.
A cool mist caresses my skin,
and makes me feel that I'm alive;
and born to do more than survive.
And when a hummingbird pops in
flying from flower to flower;
while taking a dewy shower.
I'm in tears, much to my chagrin,
watching Dawn ink a scarlet sky;
its grandeur draws a gentle sigh.
Splendiferous songbirds begin
like a whispering violin.
Triggering an impulsive grin,
a cool mist caresses my skin,
And when a hummingbird pops in,
I'm in tears, much to my chagrin.
For Timothy Lee
His grin melted me
His blue eyes captivated
I was drawn to him
His manly presence shook me to my knees.
His boldness sent my flesh nerves on spree.
I shall always hold tight his first bold words,
"You love me, you just do not know it yet."
I have waited a fragile lifetime.
I have dreamed beyond infinite dreams.
He was frequently at friends of mine.
Always intent on his flirting scheme,
He pursued me with a steady gleam.
Now our love is a fulfilling theme.
Soaked hair of my chin
Bountiful taste from within….
Oily soup of fin
By Robb A. Kopp
Give them a sentence,
of one to ten,
then go to the club,
and get your alcohol grin.
Who are you fooling,
your addiction is booze,
don't you think,
people don't have a clue.
We are judged,
by the fruits we bear,
what's missing from your life,
is waiting there.
Drive home drunk,
get stopped on the way,
but no one will punish,
they are not that brave.
People are human,
we all make mistakes,
get them some help,
for goodness sake.
So when you are sitting,
up high in your chair,
remember it could be you,
so try and be fair.
