Best Enough Already Poems
Oh how I love thee with your white and dark meat
Thou art the very best
But because of you, I can’t see my feet
My navel is two feet from my chest
To diet and lose so I don’t wobble no more
I would be very willing
It would be impossible now, because somehow
I finished four bowls of filling
My wife pointed at me and said look at him
He sits at the table, like a dog he begs
I stare at you and your magnificent breast
Can hardly wait to get my hands on your legs
Enough already, I’m on my knees
Give me some stuffing and some black eyed peas
Sweet potatoes, corn and a salad I’ll toss
And bury your butt with cranberry sauce
Oh turkey, my turkey, you’re the one who rocks
Now I’ve gotten so fat, I can’t put on my socks
My love for you was fleeting
And we are finished I fear
But I’ll fall in love with another turkey

Enough, Already!
Seriously people, when is enough… enough?
For too many of you, the answer is never.
How can a million a game be living in the rough?
Do you really want us to think that all of you suffer?
How many cars or houses do you really need?
Are you aware of the hunger problems in the world?
With what you get paid, there are millions you could feed.
Open your hearts (and wallets) to all those boys and girls.
Enough, Already!
I’m a committed employee devoted to your company,
Work 8 hours plus in a day, what more do you want from me?
Off days are scheduled, yet rarely taken.
I must 86 my agenda and the plans I’m makin’.
Medical insurance is a myth, vacation pay is a rumor.
I stare into the distance, reflect on the days of my sense of humor.
Truly, I ask myself, “Does this guy really deserve me?”
Enough, Already!
I come home from work after a long, hard day,
Hoping for some peace and quiet and maybe a little love.
Instead, “Where have you been?!?!” is all you have to say.
Our relationship should be more than what it’s made up of.
You constantly nag me to say how I feel about you,
But you never trust what I say when I hold you near.
Enough, already! There’s only so much I can do.
It’s time for me to go. There’s nothing more I want to hear.
It was the sixth wedding for daughter Judy
who was quite plain and hardly a beauty.
Time came to give away the bride
whereupon her Father replied
"five times I've tried--I've done my duty."
Where have you been? I’ve worried so.
I feared to leave the nest.
That Mr. Crow was hanging round.
You know he’s such a pest
He taunted me and said that you
were a bold philanderer
and that you’d be deserting me
and running off with her.
I know what he was doing,
just trying to get my goat
so I’d leave our home unguarded.
That would be all she wrote.
Have you eaten? I’ve been waiting
for you to bring some food.
You’ve forgotten it? How could you?
Mom said you were no good.
I swear I’m going back to her
unless you change your way.
Now come back here! I am not through.
I’ve plenty more to say.
Get on that nest. It’s your turn now.
I’m going out to eat.
And don’t mess up my nice clean house.
You had better wipe your feet.
Don’t look at me with those big eyes.
You think you have it tough?
It’s time you took some of the load.
I’ve simply had enough!!

This winter will go down in history
As one of the coldest snowiest winters on record
We have literally mountains of snow piled up everywhere
Because there is no longer any place to put it
Quite a sight really if you like that kind of stuff
Personally I've had more than enough of snow and winter
To last me a lifetime...
4 to 8 inches predicted in the next 24 hours!

Tis said we can have:
“too much of a good thing.”
Which prompts the question:
“How much is too much?”
Sadly, too much
Is often “too little, too late”
As it is the result of
“too much, too soon”
Because “too much is never enough”
when “enough is not enough”

Enough Already!
You’re dawn’s ghost of a chance each new day can find meaning,
dusk’s thanks to creation, for gifts we’ve received.
You paint rhythm on roadblocks blank minds won’t let faze them,
revealing new words to lift poets from daze.
You’re fresh insights rhyme brings to the stupor of dullards,
not dreaming muse drifts when they raft what’s perverse!
You’re the models of physics, a Truth not demeaning,
that yields aid to pilgrims though some get deceived
when they think that they own Truth (pursuers of mayhem).
Your Truth’s democratic, a Truth all can praise.
You dethrone all religions that hoist up gross retards
who claim they know Truth, though they prove the inverse!
Let us praise that we’ve Science that isn’t religious,
elevate what’s pragmatic instead of prestigious.
Don’t let faith that God loves us be faith that’s less humble
or confuse faith with Truth! That could cause both to crumble!

I make no attempt in hiding how I feel,
*I have just watched my umpteenth Medicare speel.
Thanks to old actors, jocks, and assorted jerks,
our mute button's broken and no longer works.
* Since the start of the year. LOL
It's not the colour of your skin
It's the passion that resides within
Those of us who have a brain
Don't want these problems to remain
We need to try our very best
To put the distant past to rest
Marching forward together in peace
Helping all our problems to decrease
