-Eden's Ending Eulogy-

Proceed here today, Eden's Ending Eulogy
Gentle gracious her garden, the guidance
I can't recall what was with the warm, sincere smile, and sunrise
Lost at ease and clarity.......I Sleep!
Forever In Peace, this dark, damp den, coffin will do
at last, a parting...

Premium Member My Little Eden
My little Eden --
before the fall

a screened porch
in the shade of
an ancient
overarching
fig tree

small wonder
Adam and Eve
needed only one each
to hide their new
nakedness --

chicks in their spring nests
chirping away, feeling nurtured
and protected

oblivious to the serpent
apples not his only ripe
fooled by his appealing strutting
fruited limbs...

This New Eden
"This New Eden"

This eden
rolls gently over me
like Sunlight beams
the car lights shine
luminosity along
the road, the dark night
dims eventually and
morning arrives
This eden
rolls gently over me
life through pages
the antithesis of
a booker prize
don’t get all
literal on me
I’m in draft
it's messy
notes...

Premium Member Led To Eden
For so long you’ve been hiding from me in seclusion
Wise Muse, I must gasp as I make an intrusion
I know your plan was to lead me to such splendor
Now I inhale a spiritual transfusion

While struggling in a world of carnal illusion
I needed to accept grace...

Remnants of Eden United

Scattered shards, remnants of Eden,
Gathered to a ring of bright topaz
A simultaneous soliloquy of intentionality
At the crux of intersecting avenues,
Indivisible solidarity and singular consent,
Distilled in breathless agreement
Rising from opaque mists
Where gypsy heart and pilgrim spirit
Commit to a blind quest,
Stumble in silence toward...

Eden
‘Twas a grey november morning
When I climbed outside my window
To see my breath like dragon’s smoke
Swirl and dance away.
‘Twas bitter cold
That autumn day,
And sickly sun wore mourning shrouds
Though lazy earth had yet to draw
Her snowy blanket
To her chin.

I marveled at
The tiny leaf-
The last...

A world changes course
expelling the good grim reaper
twisted joke
entering this forbidden zone
called democracy

Careless acts of violence black and white
mothers burying their children
so much tears soak the very grounds
salt of this earth
where moral order breaks down
in societies...

Your nakedness in the morning light,
Surrounds the JOY I received last night.

Together we watched the glow of the Moon,
Knowing this moment would end to soon.

Sinful Shadows of my Lustful greed,
YOUR Forever Love: what I want and need.

The sweet fragrance of...

Premium Member Where Eden Begins
There, beyond the garden wall,
Lost among the grass and weeds
A wild rose grew beneath the trees
With fragrance blithe, to fill the breeze
And her petals soft as velveteen...

She is watered and fed by pearls of dew
But is hidden there, where no one knows
Where no one...

Eden Garden
Her cheeks bloom coy red
while I kiss her with passion.
               No garden grows...

On the Bank of Eden
On the bank of my heart's Eden,
Reunited, but parted, were life and I,
By an unseen veil.

And now I stand,
Watching,
The unearthly land,
Whose beautiful weather,
I cannot feel but sense,
Is something more than spring,
And held away by an arcane fence,
There stand the angelic flowers blossoming,
Whose sweet scents,
And colours...

Welcome To Eden Picture Perfect Countryside Village Serenity
The waters trickling under the
crossing bridge grows ever dormant

And on the one and only discernable
route into this village languishing beneath
there is a old rickety swinging sign that says

" Welcome to Eden "

We trust you enjoy your stay

Where the church choir in the district
can be muffled...

Our Eden
From buckwheat bloom to goldcup flower,
From my sill of shade, to your wealthy dower,
The junctures, the times, we came upon together.
Now these goldcups, finally had color.
Transpiring your truths, I tally a noble four,
And they, are like roses in the moor....

Dedicated to My Inspiration, Timothy Lee

Joy harnessed from soft internal lightness
was pulse promised with attraction’s might
and sealed blissful bound by our first kiss …
with lips our hearts found their home address

Our emotive blessings deafen my questions
and ease my perception’s limitations
for you...

Premium Member Harvest - Spoken Word Prayer
A prayer for those
Whose lives are thin
And shelves devoid of
Bread and tin.

A stronger prayer
For those who stand
With more than enough
In every hand.

For in God's Kingdom
Love is King
And generosity
The trendy thing.

There is no lack
Or chance despair.
No deprivation.
No hunger there.

In God's town..
No cupboards bare.
No hungry child.
No shadow...
