Backyard Eden

Early morn’s bright birdsong sings my blink to day activate,
waking my faith as feel my thoughts cannot think agitate.

Of earth’s many crisp Eden’s, my yard does participate,
for when I stepped out and into Spring, her marvelous slate
had hymn-grown it as a wholeness chapel, less man’s ornate.
Our loved, frail willow’s miracle growth rose thanks to dilate,
then soar-spun my green love thru all growth to appreciate.
The blueberry bushes set my awe on anticipate.

Our garden washed me fresh in gratitude’s glorious trait.
Bulb plants lifted me with promises that exhilarate
my sense rushes of gem blooms to come and intoxicate.
Our joy-filled, yard contentment was a sense sweep dictate.
From ground to sky, eye to soul, spring does rehabilitate
all that lags as spiritually weak in my heart’s rate.

Natural earth is wonder in beauty’s prime based state
and in our yard presence are the Spring psalms I celebrate.

wow, you make your yard sound magnificent. My front yard is the one I like! My roses are now in FULL bloom. Even the teacup roses decided to come out this year. I have bluish colored ones, red teacup and pink roses. It's so beautiful. Wish you could see them!!

Between taking care of Billy (bro) and Kyle, getting bronchitis and tending Mom with her recent sprained arch, I am barely here, mostly there where we keep everywhere. I've managed to post/write, but have not read others as I would like. Miss you. Miss me. Always an upper to see your face. Thanks for coming by, I needed a Daniel visit. Hugs ... CayCay

Mr. Kevin Shaw - You are the one, you did it, you did what no other has ever done; commented on a poem just posted and before at least 15 people had read it and not commented. It happened to me because of you and I'm extremely grateful for this achievement that I hope to never forget. I try to do 'it' for others all the time, but never did I think 'it' would happen to me. I'm excited and delighted, hope you can tell. Poetry hugs ... CayCay
