Eden

-Eden's Ending Eulogy-

Proceed here today, Eden's Ending Eulogy
Gentle gracious her garden, the guidance
I can't recall what was with the warm, sincere smile, and sunrise
Lost at ease and clarity.......I Sleep!
Forever In Peace, this dark, damp den, coffin will do
at last, a parting powerful, reunion and resting resort
    Amen

With each read, I discover this poem to be more and more interesting/wonderful (for lack of a better/different word). The line: "I can't recall what was with the warm, sincere smile, and sunrise..." seems so sarcastic in some odd way (which I love). w

Hi Skat, an excellent work once more. Eden with a difference, the Skat difference. Eden and dark, you wouldn't quite expect that to be a winning combination at all. Well, i wouldn't have believed it but here is the work before me. You have pulled it off my friend. A seven once more for your flowing words. Your Friend Vladislav.

A dark Eden...and so it was after the Fall. Then every life is both paradoxically Eden in the Spring and Death in the winter. You captured it. Sliced those words up nicely. The alliteration worked here along with all the contrasts, metaphor, and sad ending. Nice one. Decided to be "Snoopy" too. Of course, IT'S IMPOSSIBLE to be snoopy when we are Posting for this VERY THING...to share, be read, work it! Good one here Skat!

Dear Skat, i love to sleep, for I enter the realm of rem dreaming, and here fantasy's can be lived without any limitations to desire or passion, you can be whom ever you wish, and do what ever strikes your fancy. Here no one can tell you nope, you can't do this or that, and you can travel where ever you wish. Love your work girl keep it up,cheri

The alliterations in this piece are fantastic. Each line rolls effortlessly from the tongue. Beautiful imagery with a sprinkle of darkness.
