The Jungle Book

This misty sky
a reflection of our misty life
in its sucked up, clouded vision
without any sense of perception,
its hopes, its desperation, its life,
clinging, slipping, dropping away
from view, from all of us,
droids and prefects alike,
too numerous
to see through the mess,
too brain dead to think aloud,
to escape from this sick world
of profits in money not in hope
or dreams or love or life,
created by our bosses to protect
and huddle us from the harsh
realities of unknown centuries
and create our own 'civil'isation,
our life our hopes hanging on their walls

The misty sky is all in our sight
I want to be on the star shining bright

Premium Member More Than A Soft Toy

with AI chat toys
my children sparkle with glee
engaging with droids—
their toys become soulful friends
for exploring the future

With voice-box removed
the alien falls silent,
just fabric and fluff—
they are just soft toys again
enjoying laugh cuddle games

mute toys tell the truth
imagination rekindles
in talking one-way
in imaginary chat
not in scripted fake chatter

would you place your trust—
in this beast in sheep's clothing
to mind and amuse,
to babysit with your child
with lessons from aliens

Rey: a Star Wars Limerick

There was a woman who lived on Jakku,

who lived in a robot and ate stew,

she met some droids,

and fought people on steroids,

and flew a frater too.

Building a Beautiful Body

I wanted a buff body, to look good in my "snuggs".
But ignored advice doled out by fitness droids.
Like: never use performance enhancing drugs
or be tempted to use Anabolic Steroids.

After 6 months, I just look like a thug wearing a rug…
…with a Nasty Squint and Diabolic Hemorrhoids

Premium Member Climate Change

blackened sun, miniaturized pencil-point, glued
to an expanse where pillow-clouds once lay in repose
caftaned, toothless droids on broomsticks whiz by, cackling

anvil-hot, clay-red rains scald cracked turf, vapor rising up
where phantasmagoric ice-pellet fireworks burst in the night

~ darkness and death descend -- the final curtain

' Mind - Meld ... '

“ GOD … How I Appreciate The Complexities ! … “
I Appreciate The Intricate, Just-So, Subtleties
The Intellectual Nuances and Imposed Perfunctories
That Separates Our Minds, From The Minds Of Beasts …

… Oh, The Ingeniousness of Thinking Abilities
This Superconductor of Sanctioned-Sensitivities
Where The Human Mind Can Reach, Celestial-Journeys
Even Beyond Our Mental-Mortal Capacities

Beyond … The Grasp of Dark and Grey Matter
Beyond … A Storage Tank and Brain-Storm Gathered
Beyond … Sweet Alice and A Mad-Hatter
Beyond … ThunderDome, and What Happens In Latter

Beyond … Neurons and A Neurotic-Mass
Beyond … ‘We’ve Got Some Nerve-Ending’ Synapse
And Just Like There’s More To See, Than What Cameras Snap
There’s More To Our Minds, Than Biology Can Map

How Could One Admire Computer-Technology
And Not Marvel At Our Medula-Oblongata System-logy
Our Minds, Are A Megaplex of Individualities
A Mall of Momentous Ideals and Marble Column Libraries

… We, Are Not Matrix, Nor Mere Routine-Machines
We, Are Not Droids, nor Drones … We Can Live Our Dreams
‘ HE ’ Programmed ‘Choice’ into Us, And Gave Us Dignities
So, “A Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Waste”, In Stupidities …

We, Are Not Robotic-Puppets, But of Genetic-Construct
… Dust, DNA-Stairway, 3-D, and Divine-Spark-Struck
We Can Be Psychotic, Without Aware-Antibiotics and Self-Destruct
But Note, That A ‘Thought’, Does Not Evolve, Without ‘An Instruct’

( … and Guess What, Man-Maze … Really, Neither Did Us ! … )

… Oh, How I Appreciate the Concise Design (Like A Human Battery)
Its Purpose, Possibilities and Activities, (even allows this Poetry)
I Appreciate The Connections Affixed in Each of The Holy Spirit-Surgeries ( Ps. 139: 13-16 )
But Most Of All, I Appreciate Being Made … In YOUR Imagery … ( Gen. 1: 26, 27 )

Hypnotized

Is slavery dead? Honestly it isn’t
Those of us who conform are stuck within a prison
We follow celebrities and we wear their clothes
As if they are Gods and we are mere mortals

As if they are shepherds and we are merely sheep
As if they are they are the strong and we are the weak
We quote their words and become their clones
And if we break their trend, we are left alone

And as they pass, we shower them with gifts
Money, so they can go and get their face lifts
Fame, so they can go out and conquer more slaves
Power, so they can destroy those who call them fake

They’ve brainwashed us so much we’ve gone completely numb
We openly cheer when the hero pulls out his gun
We don’t understand that we’re all completely mindless
We’re overjoyed only if the screen shows senseless violence

Nearby a police officer fights for his life
As a drug dealer tries to stab him with a butterfly knife
We’d call for help, but we’re busy with our own stuff
Discussing how the movie was good, but the killing wasn’t realistic enough

Our emotions are gone, we are all just droids
We don’t cry when we hear about a little boy
Who was killed in a shooting by a merciless gang
Because his father was part of the Ku Klux Klan

Instead we just shrug and respond “That’s the world today.”
“His father was an idiot,” is all that most people can say
“Things happen for a reason. That’s the Lord’s way.”
But that night, for that boy, everyone forgets to pray

We watch a few minutes of the news, not because we want to know
Coming up next is the new hit reality show
We’d rather watch girls dancing and grinding on each other
Instead of observing a woman work two jobs and be a good mother

And if disaster strikes, we observe the destruction and pain
The details of the damaged are extensively explained
But money only comes to charities with writing on the bag
The money must be packaged with a rich man’s name tag

So when the people see, they will remember what his mask looks like
He only cares if he’s quoted saying, “They will be all right.”
And with that, his money, fame, and power grows
And in the next election, it could even win him more votes

Learn to break the chains, learn to set yourself free
Your eyes are open, but you must learn to see
Don’t drink their potion. Don’t let them inside
Don’t stare at the pendulum too long or you’ll be hypnotized

Will the Real Religion Please Stand Up

Does philosophy apply when we ask the question why
In man's querulous quest to do away with scriptural sin
The ceremonial Cardinals preach but do not reach
For the worshipful wolves sovereign in their sheepskin

The unholy alliance in their delinquent defiance
Of benediction blinds that subdue the system
Regulated religion we are under submission
Maculate man in search of a willful wisdom

As Love easily escapes with draconian drapes
We are tentatively trapped in the vastness voids
Secluded spirituality with its maniacal morality
Sequestered souls like deceived dormant droids

Time to abruptly awake and schismatically shake
And let the Spirit of Love take cohesive control
For within man there is a paradisiacal plan
To aesthetically achieve their gradual godly goal.

Destination
A historical place
But these Gettysburg landings
A place of race

The signals our droids
To the Kestrels they return
For their cargo on board
To them will be, infinitive burn

Over Pennsylvanian lands
These USAF ships fly
To rid these demons
From you and i

Gettysburg in approach
Their radar responds
Three sisters located
For the earth and beyond

Kristy Krull
On McPherson's ridge
Leaving her carnage
Ending life's bridge

Illyanna
The deposed leader
For her past theatre's
No longer evils creator

Apocalypse Ale-era
Their new Queen
Serving in her evil
Earth's hell Halloween

The Kestrels close in
Illyanna is first
As their missile strikes home
In obliteration burst

Pilots cheer
In their intercom
Freedom prevails
United at home

The next attack
Kristy's caught on the ridge
Again we hit
Her body to fridge

But the Queen is our target
As it has to be
To rid her dominance
Free the land of the free

Radar declares
Her might, but distress
For three Kestrels have named
Freedoms Gettysburg address

In pincer movement
Like theatres before
Three missiles strike
Like never before

Their impacts are different
But their outcomes the same
To free our planet
And return to the sane

Miracles will happen
The water from Lourdes
Led to the demise of these three
Our planet to be cured

For many days and months
Around the table they sat
No longer saying
We'll do this, we'll do that

The structure of talks
Began round the world
Everyone listened
None absurd

Eternal Existence Evaporating

Existence evaporating in loves empty extinguishing,
Resistance resonating amidst forthcoming futile exile;
Distance desecrating dreams dormant diminishing,
Subsistence sacrificial amongst hominids hostile.

*** *** *** *** ***

Disappearing divinity divergent of idols imaging,
Fearing forever fading loves upon vacant voids;
Appearing apparitions abandoned forever finishing,
Domineering demons dispatching destructive droids.

Never
Can I begin to
Comprehend
How could I ever
Understand what you went though
Imagine what your eyes have seen
Fathom what your ears have heard
Feel the hunger that ravaged your body
Comprehend the savage cruelty endured
Day after day
In the streets then in the camps
Nowhere to hide or run
Can’t even pretend to grasp
The meaning of
Extermination of loved ones
Evil staring you in the eye
Godless droids overtaking the world
Bulldozing all in their path
While the universe
Stands by in disbelief
How does one pick up and carry on
Beyond the nightmare

Well, those new vampire droids,
are prototypes as of yet.
Though it's reaching that point,

Premium Member The Return of Earth To the Devout

Squadron assembled
Trojans and droids
Three sisters their target
Null to void

Atmosphere entered
Red to grey glow
As we near earths terrain
Red rivers flow

Cities on fire
Civilisation of pyres
No daylight sensed
Extinguished, by these darkened pariah's

The droids report back
These sisters three
In New York spotted
Near the Statue of Liberty

The decision is made
To take them out
To salvage the earth
Return to the devout

Kestrel fighters
With missiles primed
Head to the target
Mission define

On contact of hit
The heads explode
Filled with the souls
Of past earths abode

It has to take
The souls of the free
To rid these pariahs
For all eternity

In formation swoop
Waves of three
Triangular pincer
Missiles release

The first to fall
Kristy Krull
Two direct hits
This devout cull

Ale-era the Apocalypse
From the freedom torch falls
All three strike home
Liberty Island calls

Illyanna
The darkened leader
Whom the sisters follow
Pariah feeder

In Central Park
Her power failing
Kestrels strike
The darkened flailing

The last entity
In blackened spew
Illyanna
Downed by the souls so true

It took many many years
For the deathly red to fade
For the earth to return
To it's previous glade

From the Jungles of Jupiter
A cry was heard
Mother earth is dying
Devout is our word

Premium Member From the Jungles of Jupiter - To Encamp On the Moon

The moon in struggle
As it breaks through the red
The sky is dying
The earth in dread

The three sisters
On a mound of decay
Stand proud of their moment
Civilisation, fading to grey

Sceptre and scents
Sword of the fallen
Spreading their angst
Like a darken pollen

Heads slightly bowed
Their way of glee
Killing and maiming
Deathly spree

Federation of the stars
In need to meet
To rid earths quadrant
This trio to defeat

Ale-era the Apocalypse
Kristy Krull
Illyanna their leader
Void to null

A regiment of troopers
Will assemble soon
From the Jungles of Jupiter
To encamp on the moon

Droids and Trojan
Federation scouts and carriers
Will warp ahead
In battle ready Harriers

Part one of two, Part two being: The Return of Earth to the Devout.
