Will the Real Religion Please Stand Up

Does philosophy apply when we ask the question why In man's querulous quest to do away with scriptural sin The ceremonial Cardinals preach but do not reach For the worshipful wolves sovereign in their sheepskin The unholy alliance in their delinquent defiance Of benediction blinds that subdue the system Regulated religion we are under submission Maculate man in search of a willful wisdom As Love easily escapes with draconian drapes We are tentatively trapped in the vastness voids Secluded spirituality with its maniacal morality Sequestered souls like deceived dormant droids Time to abruptly awake and schismatically shake And let the Spirit of Love take cohesive control For within man there is a paradisiacal plan To aesthetically achieve their gradual godly goal. Wow...Heck yes. Similar theme as mine. Universal love and acceptance should be a religion, rather than the dredges of dogma. Great write, Winged.

Well said WW and needs to be said, so many believe because they were born into a religion, better to do a personal search for truth and then decide.

Religion from the Latin , "Religare"= to unite! To unite Man with God! There is a main difference between religion and philosophy = "Love of Wisdom" Philosophy being deductive searches for the truth and reaches a conclusion while religion been inductive starts from the conclusion and presents the truth as a "dogma" something you accept it or refuse it! Man could never know the truth so either he believes it to be this or that or he doesn't! See Kant! You have opened an endless theme. Well presented my dear friend, WW! Good luck!
