Crimson Moon

O beguiling crimson Moon
Fiercely blazing for want of thee;
Descending beneath faltering clouds;
Leering wantonly;
And She:
Her coy distractions and brazen
Enchantments
Laid bare and stripped rude...
Like the naked lightening tree.

Stealing forth his confoundments
Dealt by bloody, craven fingers
Which do betray and disavow
The sacred pledges
Made unto the black veils
Of night-time down...
When, drifting carnally upwards
Against your sleeping form -
Stooping to kiss upon that fiery brow...
Thus forged an incestuous alliance
Beneath the distant stars
Of a broken plough.

Where Crimson Bleeds Its Rose

Under a blue moon

He becomes my dream

A secret uncloaked

Emotion unveiled

A mystery revealed

Existence of warmth

between my subconscious

and implicit knowledge

..And it is there

`Neath the soft spot

of this heart

where crimson bleeds

 its velvets

upon his bare breath

It is there

where my blushed lips

loose their virginity

Where my fair cheeks

suffuse with rosy glow

It is there where

 fiery needs are fulfilled

Fervent desires scorched

Candlelit pleasures beheld

It is there

 where alluring visions embrace

my suppressed memory

and take over this barren soul

As his ardent voice calls

in an enticing whisper

and  a unique accent

into my left ear

My love...

Mon petite fleur..

Mi amor...

That is a preserved time

An uncloned moment

where my unwholiness

becomes whole

That is the minute

His glancing eyes

capture my own

Only until...

Mr Sandman leaves behind

Dry proposals on wet sand

Early mist envelops the bridge

Aurora glows in new awakening

Last zephyr breeze

 fades from my cheek

Then He is gone

Forever gone

Where Crimson Bleeds Its Rose

 Under a half  moon
He becomes my dream
A secret uncloaked
Emotion unveiled
A mystery revealed
Existence of warmth
between subconscious
and implicit knowledge
And it is there...
`neath the soft spot of my heart
where crimson bleeds its velvet
upon his bare breath
Its there where my blushed lips
lose their virginity
Where my fair cheeks
suffused with rosy glow
It is there where fiery needs are fulfilled
Fervent desires scorched
Candlelit pleasures beheld
It is there where alluring visions
embrace my suppressed memory
and take over this barren soul
As his ardent voice call
in an enticing whisper
in a unique accent
into my left ear
My love~Mi amor
That is the preserved moment
when my unwholiness becomes whole
That is the moment
those glancing eyes capture my own
Only until...
Mr sandman leaves behind
wet proposals on dry soil
Early mist envelops the bridge
Aurora rises in new awakening
Last zephyr breeze  fades away
and once again He is gone,gone.

Crimson Rain

On a still...ancient horizon,
Massive dragon wings emerge,
To the atmospheric battlefield.
Where two legendary beasts,
Clash for the love...of a dragoness.

A battle of mythic proportions,
Of two stonily serpents in the sky.
Only three dragons remain,
The two wary warriors,
And the dragoness they fight for.

The flap of enormous wings,
Thunders the air abroad.
The fire in the sky illustrates,
That the battle has begun.

Fierce deafening roars,
Rape the quiet Delphi skies.
In a solemn brave attempt,
To win the dragoness’ heart.
She rests...nestled in the mountains,
For the winning warrior’s return.

Strident screams pierce the heavens,
From the vicious violent brutality.
Aggressive attacks resonate,
Vibrating her lair of stone,
As she shivers in despair and wonder.

Sharp talons pierce the scales,
Shredding the tissue of life.
Effervescent mists spray,
Staining the clouds with gore.

A thud hits the landscape,
And her attentive attention reacts.
Waiting with complete ambition,
A second thud thumps the landscape.

Curious eyes creep from the cave,
She wrestles with the thought of extinction,
As both...her warriors are slain,
Laying lifelessly...in a crimson rain.

tears
on her pillow
refuse to dry
only her piano
                    knows her pain

sitting
in her gown
her fatigued fingers
break her silence
                        as they weep
until crimson drops
                           stains her keys

yet
no one
hears her sorrowful
serenade of
                 shame

a fool for love
lamenting his
lack of loyalty

her eyes flood
dripping onto ivory
rectangles of regret

but
they wash away
crimson blemishes
for her to play
                    vividly and vigorously

harmony of her hands
play away the pangs
                            of heartbreak

her heart knows
this symphony
                    could end in tears

but
she smiles
believing there is
always hope for a
                        better tomorrow

Crimson Rose

Against all odds, your destiny,
To live and grow, your history...
You grew and bloomed with all your might
With drops of rain and harsh sunlight
Through crack in earth you came to be.

Passed down from Greek mythology;
Adonis born from Myrrha's tree
In wild boars wounds from Ares fight
Against all odds.

Adonis' blood that flowed freely
Turned into roses magic'ly.
This sad tale of Adonis' plight
Engaged in death, now retains light
As you share love in purity
Against all odds.

*In Greek mythology, roses originated from Adonis, deity of plants and rebirth. Adonis was born from a deceptive union between King Theias and his daughter Myrrha. When King Theias realized that his daughter had tricked him, he chased her with his sword. To protect Myrrha, Aphrodite transformed her into a tree.

King Theias shot the tree with an arrow, splitting it in half. It was from this tree that Adonis was born. Aphrodite took to Adonis and raised him like a son. As Adonis grew, he became an avid hunter. One day while he was hunting, Adonis came across Ares, one of Aphrodite’s past lovers, who was disguised as a wild boar. Ares attacked Adonis and when Aphrodite heard his screams, she ran into the forest and found him dying. The blood that ran from his wounds hit the ground and turned into roses.

In another version of the tale, red roses originated when Aphrodite was running to Adonis’ side, cut her feet on the thorns of the flowers, and stained them red.

CRIMSON ROSE

You stand once more beside the harbour wall
This is the third night I have seen you there.
I watch you from a distance, proud and tall
A shaft of sunlight glinting in your hair
What is it draws you to that spot each day?
What thoughts of sadness occupy your mind?
The memory of a love far, far away,
A yearning for your homeland left behind?
Sad seagulls’ cries provide the only sound;
You reach out, casting something on the sea
And then, oblivious to all around,
You slip away still steeped in mystery
      I look down where the water gently flows.
      It’s empty save for one dark, crimson rose

As my ardent voice whispers

beneath the tender of your ear

I hope to grace this page today
With  musings from my soul
And write between the lines
The greatest story every told
In trails of crimson etchings
Bleeding from an open heart
As line by line my inhibitions
Simply fall apart

A spirit free from earthly bonds
Oblivious to  time
Whilst drifting through the annals
Of something so sublime
As daylight turns again to night
To break another dawn
As I and my muse
Write... on and on and on

There’s scarlet within the warm sky tonight
A crimson feel that envelopes alright
I love the sight of every form of red
Yellow seeps in with orange that bled

World moves effortlessly along with this
The colors of majestic times you wish
I see the sky this dusk with awe and glee
Seemingly to make me complete and free

A crimson sky beams with peace and delight
Sun dips into the ground and out of sight
Birds recognize this beauty and dips down
Reaches in the heart of the glow around

Tranquil with love through the entry parlor
The sky is filled with an awesome color

                                            circle the hidden cove...

Crimson Flower

I think of you,
the crimson flower
shining in the blazing sun

My mouth waters
for your delightful kiss,
the taste of your flower

My life desires
your life-sustaining nectar
running through my body

My soul is enlightened
by your pleasant grace,
the essence of you

My heart churns
for your petals around
raining down, touching me

My world wishes
for you always...
the sweetness of my life.

Crimson ribbon across the darkening sky
Toys sweetly with exquisite hints azurite
Sublime whisper in the stillness of the night
Dulcet as a fluttering wings' butterfly

Ignoring warnings of atrophy's caution
Tightening the fatal corset to her heart
Beware of jealousy's evil counterpart
Watching it adrift beyond the horizon

Neath veil opaque set free most venomous ache
Draining weary soul of stagnant tears and fears
With returning tide the hope of buoyant years
Await sunrise as she awakes at daybreak

Thou Art Bright Crimson-In Rose Red-lit Bloom

Thou art bright crimson-in rose red-lit bloom
candles shine to adorn window's full moon
Fragrance of both, rests in thy love's perfume
rare music of romance's most precious tune.

Thy voice sings angel soft, harmonic dreams
taking world worries from defeated souls
Thy glow surpasses lights of fairy queens
soothing as sailing with gentle sea rolls

Immortal thoughts reside within thy breasts
true bounty of thy deeply loving heart
Romantic moonlight, all it manifests
mirrors thy dear face- treasured work of art.

Shall my quest seek greater than thy touch
I shall refuse - that is a boon too much.

~a Crimson Rose Ii~

'Crashing'....Into the rocks....

I stare, until a light mist

Gathers itself within my eyes

I gance to my left, towards the cove

A sailboat sailing, just beyond an empty shore

I peer, I stare, but, 'She' is not there

I resend my sight....

Her bluest, of alluring blue eyes

Heavenly eyes~Her timeless glow!

Wearing a flowered sundress

Her shining, and flowing auburn hair

Standing there ~

I beam, as I gently ring the chimes

Those, that she did once fashion

Forever there, now by my side

Dolphines and butterflies

Her favorite flower....'A Crimson Rose' ~

I then set my coffee down

And, gather them within my hand

I think, I shall keep the top up, today

It is, kind of cold....

"Can we dear, can we"

Peter Gabriel ~

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Driving down a coastal road
On a grey and cloudy, seaside day
Somber silence, as I look toward the west
The oceans breaks, as I glance upon its edge....
Gazing, beyond its horizon, and beyond all time ~
Turning back ahead, and into the rear view mirror
A tiny heart, red, and her golden cross!
A tear from the corner of my eye, falls, as I arrive
I slowly pull up, park, and once again, get out
Across the solemn ground
That I have crossed before, I walk
I quietly and humbly kneel down
As I run my fingers, through her glistening hair....
"Hello my love," I say, as I lay them tenderly
Before 'Her Eyes!'~
There, for her grace to see~'Her Beauty!'
I carefully arrange them, my heart bleeding inside
As I remove the old~"And there you are, 'My Dear!'"
I then stand, and I hold her close....
Kissing the perfectness, of her wonderous lips!
And I whisper, "always," into her everlasting soul ~
"Forever 'My Love,' forever!"
A bright gleaming as I look unto the sky
And then, I close my eyes....
"In your eyes, the light the heat, I am complete"
"Can we dear, can we"
She giggles, as I hand her an eternal
And neverending promise, once again, within
