Only You and Me

The garden curled around us as we sat beneath the stars,
In the silver shine of Venus and the rust red glow of Mars.
The brandy was between us and we toasted life and love,
While the moon conducted music from the dark green leaves above.
In the cold grey light of morning we may think things diff'rently,
In the moonlight, in the garden, there was only you and me.

Vintage brandy in the bottle seemed to ask us both to drink
And the flowers that were watching clearly knew what they should think.
Then your glass was finally empty and you laid it to one side
While you closed your eyes and kissed me and the barn owl tried to hide.
In the cold grey light of morning we may think things diff'rently,
In the moonlight, in the garden, there was only you and me.

There was silence in my city as your lips were joined to mine
And I tasted all of heaven and a little brandy wine.
As our bodies settled closer and we melted into one
With embarrassed little giggles that were sure to signal fun.
In the cold grey light of morning we may think things diff'rently,
In the moonlight, in the garden, there was only you and me.

So we gathered up the glasses and we put the stars to bed
Then we walked along the garden path, my shoulder 'neath your head.
We pulled each other closer and we whispered with our hands
That tonight is all that matters and the whole world understands.
In the cold grey light of morning we may think things diff'rently,
In the moonlight, in the garden, there was only you and me.

Hocus Moon

she looks on earth with joyless eye
beneath her light, the lonely cry
and so I'll pluck her from the sky

happis crappis, alakazam
eye of newt and elephant yam
a conjured spell on mystic sphere
I'll tug my ear and call her near
then pluck the moon out of the sky

by strange magic or hocus trick
I’ll tempt her with a wand or stick
out of the sky, out of the sky
I'll pluck the moon out of the sky

companionless before the day
still in her mist, the hopeful pray
then watch her slowly fade away

abracadabra, witches' brew
compel her light to cast askew
will her to pleasure, not give pain
so I ordain; by morning, wane
her loveless light shall fade away

her pale shadow will end the show
then wait the dawn, her fleeting glow
will fade away, will fade away
her loveless light will fade away.

Love Story

Our love begins
like the shy child that turns from a kind eye,
stealing peeks through timid smiles,
or the sleeking bronze fawn that stills at the sounds of soft winter rainfalls.
But cool waters stir, and the golden dawn warms the chilled morning air.
Emerald jays awaken to join the light dances,
kindling pastel petals to stretch and sigh,
glowing as they unfold the day.

The tumbling earth now lurches, and the scorned sun mounts the sky,
while crimson orchids quiver and cower below,
The heat and hatred of the world rains down,
pools into our souls, and they suffocate,
sinking slowly into breathless oblivion.

Grace awakens, light changes, softens,
and hands of white fire reach down
into our very hearts,
illuminate our hopeless corners,
and carry the darkness away on the peaceful night winds.
We wake within this quiet moonlight,
our love reborn again
beneath the silent stars of our Father.

~a Crimson Rose Ii~

'Crashing'....Into the rocks....

I stare, until a light mist

Gathers itself within my eyes

I gance to my left, towards the cove

A sailboat sailing, just beyond an empty shore

I peer, I stare, but, 'She' is not there

I resend my sight....

Her bluest, of alluring blue eyes

Heavenly eyes~Her timeless glow!

Wearing a flowered sundress

Her shining, and flowing auburn hair

Standing there ~

I beam, as I gently ring the chimes

Those, that she did once fashion

Forever there, now by my side

Dolphines and butterflies

Her favorite flower....'A Crimson Rose' ~

I then set my coffee down

And, gather them within my hand

I think, I shall keep the top up, today

It is, kind of cold....

"Can we dear, can we"

Peter Gabriel ~

Driving down a coastal road

On a grey and cloudy, seaside day

Somber silence, as I look toward the west

The oceans breaks, as I glance upon its edge....

Gazing, beyond its horizon, and beyond all time ~

Turning back ahead, and into the rear view mirror

A tiny heart, red, and her golden cross!

A tear from the corner of my eye, falls, as I arrive

I slowly pull up, park, and once again, get out

Across the solemn ground

That I have crossed before, I walk

I quietly and humbly kneel down

As I run my fingers, through her glistening hair....

"Hello my love," I say, as I lay them tenderly

Before 'Her Eyes!'~

There, for her grace to see~'Her Beauty!'

I carefully arrange them, my heart bleeding inside

As I remove the old~"And there you are, 'My Dear!'"

I then stand, and I hold her close....

Kissing the perfectness, of her wonderous lips!

And I whisper, "always," into her everlasting soul ~

"Forever 'My Love,' forever!"

A bright gleaming as I look unto the sky

And then, I close my eyes....

"In your eyes, the light the heat, I am complete"

"Can we dear, can we"

She giggles, as I hand her an eternal

And neverending promise, once again, within

Praise the Lord All My Soul

Glory be to God.
His Mercy endures forever,
His love rises upon His people.
As the sun rise upon the earth.
Never will the love of the Lord,
fail to shine upon His people.
Even though darkness comes
The Will of the Light shall break out
And make all life clear for the eyes

I tell you- "The Glory of the Lord fills the earth
The skies proclaim His wonders."

So sing praises to the Lord with all your soul
For He lets His light shine in you
His favor is upon you.
He has brought you into His creation
So shout praise and glory from your Spirit
For He has made known to you the Truth of Life.

Stained Glass Window

My stained glass image
was a ripe peach
with spilt Zinfandel
like electric rubies
pooling around a gentle ray.
It was a colour hungering
to weave spirit out of light,
so that all my prism
touched felt nothing
but the energy of day.

Then there was Love,
A star brighter than the sun,
halting Sol Invictus
and his fiery chariot
before Aphrodite’s temerity.
But Love’s luminosity burned
a fearful depth of heat
until all my eyes witnessed
was overexposed film
begging for clarity.

My stained glass design
mixed metallic salts
fortified at melting point,
colour forever permanent
to mark my very being.
You dipped your brush
on a pallet of your vision
and Trust let you paint over
my very soul,
creamy light forever fleeing.

Your paint, by the very nature
of it belonging to you,
curator of my love,
fused to my glass
as if cooked in a kiln of fire.
Never could I have believed
you to devise a colour
so terrible and diseased
that sickness would filter
where light used to transpire.

Stained glass window,
more true the words appear,
But where others fear
I can shatter my own
glass or heart or soul
and clean the tarnish
by leaving out every piece
you painted with twisted stroke
and amass myself together
until the colour of my light is whole.

Fstop

Fstop. (SNAP!)

our moment.

our pier.
in a split second,
a single-slipped ray
of animation
senses and egresses
ambient light
into the
cauterized bloodstream
of two enamored
lovers.

Fstop. (SNAP!)

our reflection.

my desire for you.
my private folding
twice into your extended arms -
thrice thinking through
the mercurial threads
of my theatrical,
dramatic effulgence;
launching
my passion forth -
knowing the eagerness,
of a woman's innocence,
will boomerang
like zirconium crystals
to caress and invade
parched throats.

for us to swallow and savor.

Fstop. (SNAP!)

our morning.

our daydreams will
shoot the light fantastic
like the omnipresent
sun.
a whispered warmth
leaks within
my heart -
it then secretly
spills upon your breasts -
it longingly stings, like
gilded particles
of dazzled mercury;
silently burning
my candid penance
into your
wanton wishes -
akin to smoldering embers.

(my camera clicks)

Fstop. (SNAP!)

our auroral
afternoon.

like a clandestine
morning blossom;
a once
removed duo -
now ignite
Mr. Sunshine's
latitudes
and longitudes
into a partnership
of cindered flesh.
my sunshine -
am i invited
with camera down to
your expansive arms -
your powdered legs -
and...?

Fstop. (SNAP!)

I'm blinded
by your prismed stare.

Smile, sunshine -
beam relucent
as I adjust the

smothered aperture.

Unlimited Love

Oo…The Holy Light my love
Thou are my ultimate light I long for
I would not like to pay attention to light
sparkling on the Giza pyramid
I do not take an interest in light
glistering on the Borobudur’s summit
Also I do not care about the blistering shine of the sun
spouting to the Kaaba
and the bright light of the moon
spraying to the Canterbury Cathedral
As the only feeling I have is
a deep longing for Thee
to dissolve myself into Thy unlimited and lovely Light.

Oo…The Holy Light
who is beyond all of the shiny beam
I wish I would be destroyed
in Thy glorious gleam.

A Valentine Romance

all the stars in the sky
cannot tell you
and are not meant to
tell my love how much it means

all the sea's can not tell you
how secret or how sacred
that it is
that this i believe

all the light from the sun
cannot light the way
to the secret one
i give my love everyday

all the love in the world
for just one girl
on this one
particular day

all the words cannot explain
why i feel this way
it's magically fills my heart
and makes me insane

all though nobody knows
it continues to grows
everytime i hear or see
your precious name

i only have one hope
for Valentines Day
give me your love
and with you i'll stay

forever and a day
i promise
forever and a day

A Beacon of Light

A beacon of light to a much hurting world in need !

Can't help but to claim..,

Some sense of identity,

Stregnth and encouragement only come from above !

Amidst in the distance, the trapped seagull..,

Lieth frightened but still yet adrift !
In a most vengeful fashion striking the passing fish,
A true source of hope,
Yet a most triumphal beam !

This beacon of light shineth forth,
Passerby's can err' escape the helping hand..,

To the most sparkling of radiance !

That Sunset View

A dry thirsty day quenched by the approaching night,
Those leaves shed under the gale of a light wind,
Nervous squirrels peeping through their green abode;
Nature playing havoc on a depressed soul.

That creeping thought of an unforgettable past;
An over powering urge for the same mutual love.
The brown crystalled eyes and a vague gentle form;
Alas! all lost in the midst of a lashing tide.

The pale sky and a deep red horizon,
Slow encroaching darkness over the drowning sun,
A shimmer of light from that stagnant pool;
The last remains of a sunset view.

Love Came Down

Love Came Down

Of Royalty on Angels arms,
visit the maid in sweet embrace.
Silent, peace, nestled, warm,
prepared the way for lifelong grace.

Of Crystal night, moon filled sky
star lit paths of shepherd feet.
As they watched they wondered why
staffed with whispers for their sheep.

Of learned Wise Men rich with mind
wandered far this light to find.
For they knew a gift had come,
A Majesty for everyone.

Of lowly bode in covered hove
a couple kneeling humble prayer.
Bathed in Light from above
a gift of Love the World to Share.

Of Angels voices whisper joys
Love has come Love abounds.
God of Love sent His Son
This the night that Love Came Down.

Lovelight

You look at me and I get lost.
My purest thoughts are quickly tossed.
Your shining spirit makes you so handsome.
So captured by you I need a ransom.
Just when I thought my time was past.
You shined your light and I love at last.
