Best Buzzing Poems
A bee came buzzing too soon, too soon
The season is not yet in its June
The sap must rise to the breast of the moon
And roots must lust for the earth in ruin
I am planting in September rain
When the ice winds come shall this remain
Shall sow my love to earth in vain
Shall the winter's cross bring me pain
The bee does not hesitate, in faith
It buzzes to find the flower, and wait
Enshrine in dazzling dance, in spate
With the autumn's fruitful date
O but the barren glade is bare, is bare
Except for concrete everywhere
Shall bowers green brim again here
And the bee brims with honey from my darling dear?

Verse
The skeeters have scattered all about once more
They hide among dragonflies while trying to soar
Nimble, they quickly contrive to dodge every swat
I can still hear them buzzing, afraid to get caught
Dragonflies are friendly, but if they turn their backs
Wily skeeters feast on their blood in devious attacks
But like every old skeeter, their time will soon come
There are too many dragonflies for them to run from
There is a moral to this story, which I am glad to tell
Careful who you bite; some will ring your death knell
Dragonflies are spunky and always stand their ground
You can’t pretend to be innocent with so many around

The spiritual gem inside me,
sometimes sounds like a huge buzzing bee.
This rumbling sound makes me want to flee,
flee to peace and not for glee.
I know when my soul needs to rest,
as I put it back into my chest.
This crazy world has it dressed,
now my soul needs to pass the test.
Even when we are both all stressed,
quietness and prayer will fill us with new zest.

My ears are buzzing
Carefully I listen
Keep still I say
Entangled is a bee
Napping
ZAP!
I chuckle to myself
Ending the life of the bee.

Acrostic
perched on the branch
tree lizard puffs up its chest
like a balloon
dancing in the dark
fireflies paint lines of light
in exquisite designs
a buzzing bee
the sleeping dog awakens
then bolts from the room

the sound of buzzing
announcing his intention
a sharp reminder
not to ignore a warning
ice melting down my shirt sleeve

"Buzz... buzz," said the bee and I.
We're both ready to be set free.
A poem was here but spread its wings to fly
because the soup tastes like a catastrophe.

I wish I was young
What can I hear
Taunts
Fricken life
What is happening
Happy childhood
Morning flying
Crying over past memories
What do I do now
I can’t fly
I am sick
Help me
For the lesson of God
Maverick Lord
I am asleep
For youse

Personification
In the still of this young night, here in the dark I lounge alright..
Low down in this executive chair, my legs are parked on the table high in the air..
The chair is well laid back and I have my forefinger tip tapping on a tablet phone..
The low glow from the display reveals each word I want as if alive on its own...
Mosquitoes by the numbers are buzzing crazily all around in the air...
Even as over my head, a low humming airconditoner sends down its cooled air...
Outside, a shrill cricket shrieks somewhere in the night..
As my fleeted forefinger quickly punch out every word right...
But for the mosquitoes, it is all peace and quiet in this night...
How I wish for a kindred soul to partake in the tranquility of the night...

Narrative
It ducks and dives
bouncing through the air
buzzing for it's life
free without care;
now disappeared a silence,
can't see it anywhere
a mass of confusion
It could be over there?
As elusive as it is scheming,
the lord of all flies,
Who leaves me screaming,
"Why are you so wise?!"
Incognito, always in disguise
It' colour deceitful a deep blue mottle
A skydiver, a rocket, that's Mr. Bluebottle.

I hear you mumble as the bees buzz around the garden
Slurping sweet nectar
The rosebud’s abundant fragrance
Hangs thick in the moist sticky air
The scent wriggles its way into my nose
The effect surprises a giggle from my throat
You pause and I realize the conversation
Must be too serious for such a flippant reply
I attempt to hush my inner musings
But giggles can be tenacious
Particularly when being suppressed
Causing the giggles to become a roar
You stare at me thinking
I’ve finally flown over the cuckoo’s nest
Which turns my laughter into unrefined snorts
I slowly waft back to earth
Joyful tears slipping down my cheek
The silence hovering in the space
Between us
Please, I quietly beg, see me
The conversation resumes as I concentrate on the buzzing bees

The TV ad said Hunny Gadgets
She misheard it as Bunny Habits
Her bunnies won’t breed
She typed at high speed
She’s just ordered two Rampant Rabbits

What is that I see?
Is that a large bumble bee?
Oh, It is! I shall now flee!
For I do not want it to sting me!
