Epochs apart, yet,
bound by conscience,

Buddha, 
Jesus,
Moses,
Muhammad,

Enduring the whispers of time,
through creeds professed,
sermons preached,
and a million sins confessed.

the essence,
of these banished revolutionaries,
is ceremonially muted by ritual,
and gleefully crushed under,
