Banished

It’s an ache in my chest, A loss of breath, Hot tears and no rest. It’s a sacrifice of love On a platter of pain. Down low I remain. It’s a fall from grace To a dark empty place. Disgraced. It’s a loss of my sun, A bloody moon, Banished from paradise too soon. It’s a why and a how, A mystery, To go from heaven to misery. The poignancy of this poem is breathtaking, Carole. It covers the spectrum of emotions w/deft pen brevity. Beautiful poetry. Love and smiles, dear friend and mentor.

Such a dramatic sad downfall... you know something Carole, we can't control what happens to us, but we cant control how we react to it.. Be strong and I hope your rise soon...

It is the fate of mortals to live between misery and elation. Only the ballance in one's soul may bring stabilty in one's heart. Wonderful profound verses dearest, Carole!
