once pride of parlor now relegated to porch along with old muddy boots once proud and regal now standing ignored and scorned by busy household members only tired farmer appreciates chair's comfort as he sits to remove boots

Awesome Joyce. I like this poem alot. I think every hard working man can appreciate this one. Esp us tired old farmer's sons who have gotten to be that way ourselves... Congratulations and thanks for your honorable mention of farmers.
