Premium Member How 2 Bake A Poem

Mix maroon heart with amber ambition
Silver start swiftly amethyst affliction
How do you heal when you’re blue broken
Create a poetic meal to eat keep hope and

Stir in sandy sonnets from years in the rain
Sprinkle Senryu, haiku despite peach pain
Let cranberry couplets cream morbid thought
Sift soulful sentiment knitted like amber art

Add a dollop of daylight in your wisest words
And mince moonlight sautéed by wing of bird
Knead the dough of poems soul as it forms
Pour in powdered pan man, woman so warm

Bake to taste by lavender lake full of adjectives
You’ll know when it’s done for it’s like magic is
Transforming minds and making designs of brain
That’s how to bake a poem, green grace stay sane

Even though you may not be looking, always believe that love is cooking.Quote - Poet’s own
Bake love each day the whole of your life
Mixed with fervour and all kinds of spice
Everything you've ever hungered for
Hopes, dreams, wishes and all you adore.

Stir in measureless ardent passion
Sprinkle on top some sweet compassion
Simmer slowly on the lowest heat
‘Til your heartbeats are on the increase.

Then turn the temperature way up
Whilst drinking wine from the loving cup
Prepare the aura ready to eat
Soft music, dim lights during the feast.

Tempt palates with a special delight
Of afters that please the appetite
Just as we need food so we may live
We’re all in need of love to exist.

I hope you will test my recipe
It truly has done wonders for me.

Feminist Bake Sale

Bake sale for equality
Power to the people
But its true nullity
Its not for all people

"You've heard the complaints...
Now its really happening"
Equality with which you must reacquaint
The irony is saddening

One dollar for man
75¢ for a lady
Aren't we all human
We seem divided lately

Im not a feminist
But i hope you don't mind
Im a humanist
I believe in all of man kind

Premium Member Lets Bake a Cake

I wanted to bake a cake
but found I had no flour
off to the miller I went
alas he said I have none

the farmer didn't bring
any wheat for me to mill
he asked me to go and see
why he had not been along

I went to see the farmer
but he was laid up in bed
he'd slipped of the ladder
now his back he'd strained

he asked if I could take
his wheat to the mill
so I loaded it in the cart
set off back to the mill

on the way a wheel fell off
so to the blacksmith I went
he said he'd soon be along
when he had shod the horse

soon he came and fixed the cart
once more off I set on my way
the sun shining, we bumped along
until at last at the mill we arrived

the miller was so grateful
all my flour I got for free
I set off for home ready to bake
that cake I had been dreaming of

I lit the oven so it would be hot
the ingredients I started to mix
I added all the dry stuff, alas
I had no eggs just an empty box

to hen coop I went to get some
found six beauties under the hen
she pecked me as I took them
giving a right squawk of disgust

back to the bowl where I added two
whipping the butter into the mixture
added some milk, then poured it out
filling the cake tin three quarters full

Into the oven I put my tin
leaving it to bake slowly
my tummy rumbling as it cooked
at last it was ready, I left it

on the windowsill to cool a bit
while I laid the table for tea
I went to get it to slice it up
alas that wretched hen got there first

Premium Member Happiness Is a Piece of Cake

Happiness is built so like
a cake we bake, giving joy
to taste the breadth of life. The recipe
begins with one filled cup of resilience
to keep it all together. Next, place two
cups of cheery acceptance
 loving yourself, as you are.
Then, sprinkle in two equal cups of your
strong, deep-down appreciation- to drink
in the beauty of life. Now, add two cups
of guidance to help pursue
the notable goals you seek.
Then, three cupfuls of balanced emotions
for all life's changing whirlwind of events.
Next, blend in three cups of relationships
full of family and friends,
of all young and old alike.
Whip in eight cups of magnanimous love
to feed acts of kindness- concern for all.
Last, stir in twelve cups of solid purpose.
Bake for a better lifetime;
notice the happiness rise!

Bake a Cake

Go ahead and crack an egg,
Mother Patsy and daughter Meg,
Could just not get it right,
It would, crash, splash with might,
On Grandpa’s wooden leg!

So Meg and her mum,
Decided to give grandpa rum,
So he wouldn’t be in the way,
They broke more eggs from a tray,
Finally they made a cake that was yum!

Grandpa woke up and ate the cake,
He thought it was great,
But got a pain in his tum,
Meg and mom called nine one one,
And then they continued to bake!

Shake 'N Bake

At a galactic social greeting
The universe had a major meeting
Over an issue that needed some work

Seems they'd all about had enough
Of the bad boy on the block
Commonly known as the Earth

Seems he's caused quite the ruckus
Since day one among us
Is what most planets and stars had to say

And when it comes to the Moon
We've all but about lost our view
Since Earth came along and got in the way

Plus all of the loud noise
From the parties to the wars
The occupants should really quit it down

Yes nothing's been the same
Since the day the wild Earth came
And settled in on this side of town

From all of the rocket ships
And circling of the sputniks
It's like a giant game of dodge ball

We have all tried to get along
Holding hands, Kumbaya...well you know the song
But this isn't working out at all

Wondering what all they could do
You simply can't turn the Earth loose
Creating havoc from one end to the other

There was not one single thought
From any in the entire bunch
As they all stared blankly at each other

That is until the planet Mars
The mischievous one of course
Said I have an idea that just might work

We'll all do something to upset the Sun
When he flares the Earth blow up
Then we can take all the left over dirt

Where we'll fill in all the holes
On the Moon with the Earth's soil
Putting it back into original form

And once that deed it is we do
All of us and the new made up Moon
Can enjoy the life we had before Earth came along

...so when you see the brightest light
quickly kiss your butt goodbye
as that flare soon enough will end the play

can't say it hasn't been loads of fun
once medium rare now very well done
Kraft would be proud at this ultimate Shake 'N Bake

Shake N' Bake Love Bang

Shake; shake do the shake n'
bake, got me another round of
hot sauce love bang; Bang!!!!
Quick to jump the bamboo
stick, given it a whirl of double
pleasure gets you off by
any doubts that I can blow your
mind.
Which now is fully bloomed
with excitement as we come
tunneling in a pure inticimy
earthquake, between the
sheets...
Where I've raddled your cage
through the jungle of my hut,
You can no longer excape: So
gore this thirst full erge to hunt
for prey to eat as I catch you
Apon this journey...
Hoping to pounce on you, roll
you around the field in secrecy
to simmer down the heat and
rise among the sun right by
your side with a steamy shake
n' bake love bang; bang Yeah you
Know you want some; So come
On And get me.....if you can!!!

I Like To Bake

I LIKE TO BAKE
Lord, you know I like to bake,
That velvety rich chocolate cake,
Covered with icing, I never stop,
Until chocolate curls adorns the top.

Lord, you know I like to bake,
Custard slices and biscuits make,
With fruit, nuts and choc. chips,
Though they linger on my hips.

Lord, you know I like to bake,
(I say it's for my family's sake),
Apple pies and cheesecake too,
With dumplings in the Irish stew.

Lord, you know I like to bake,
But need to curb my intake,
Pavlova, a delicious sugary fluff,
I never seem to have enough.

Lord, you know I like to bake,
But cholesterol pills I now take,
These words I must never utter,
"Please pass me cream and butter".

Lord, a special favour I shall ask,
It would only be a simple task,
You who changed water into wine,
Dissolve those calories when I dine!

How To Bake a Savory Pie

Because I want the crust to gently flake,
I cut in frozen butter to make crumbs.
I'll wash the shell with egg before I bake;
you'll note how delicate the crust becomes.

I fill the egg-washed shell with chunks of meat,
potatoes, carrots, onions and some peas.
Of course no proper sav'ry pie's complete
without some Worcestershire and grated cheese.

I add those to a gravy for the sauce.
then pour it gently so as not to spill.
Next, cover it with pastry strips, criss-cross--
a lattice showing off my baking skill.

And, finally, some foil wrapping 'round
so that the edges won't become too browned.

Premium Member I Cook But No One Eats

I cook but no one eats.
I bring my offerings to pot-lucks.
But no one wants to be lucky.
I take it home, without a spoonful gone.

I make surprise casseroles.
They are a glorious testament
To everything we have had to eat that week.
My husband eats before he comes home.

I bake and people laugh.
Once I made an inedible cake.
My twin and cousin rolled it into balls.
They bounced all over the sidewalk.

It was from a cake mix.
My mother asked how I had done it.
No one could eat it, but we played with it all day.
If I knew how I did it I would do it again, and often.
