Premium Member The Jews

Years ago, my aunt developed mesothelioma. She and her husband did not have money for medical care. It was a Jewish hospital that took her in, and helped her through her last days free of charge.
The Jews have built many hospitals, made contributions to many charities, and established many foundations. The list is endless.
Jews have been instrumental in government and finance. They have served in our American armed forces from recruits to high level generals and admirals.
I have never seen a Jew burn an American flag.
I have never heard of a Jew cry out for his God while assaulting a woman.
Jews take their God seriously, and are respectful In prayer.
Jews are good pet owners. Many Jews own cats and/or dogs. Jews recognize dogs as one of God's gifts to all of us.
Jews endure a lot of hate and bullying, yet they stay strong.

Assaulting me! The darkness comes to be
    in devil’s guise. Phantom haunts my mind;
in sleep paralysis I cannot flee -
insanity bleeding through ruined rind.

I’m humbled now and at your merciless
whims and words afflicting by your whipping
cruelty I’d endured and what of this -
stranglehold of fear that is so gripping.

The trauma it inflicts does overwhelm
in present as it did in madness past,
as Hypnos slips me blackened nightmare’s realm
my sanity becomes a lone outcast.

Stalking specter and there’s no protections,
I’m the victim with my mind in confines,
    house of mirrors broken your reflections;
      antagonistic mania still shines.

My life with you; you’re still inside my head,
though self-destruction chose as your fare-well.
  Subconsciously you infiltrate with dread
as incubus revenge becomes my Hell.

March Wind

This brutal March wind
that bellows and bullies
tearing through trees,
and assaulting roofs

as it pounds against
my window’s glass
and rips away expectations
of long awaited spring

Even as it brings frozen drops
and sputters of snow
pushing trash cans
scattering life’s remnants

though I am forced to
hide under woolen blankets
and stir the coals
of hickory logs

I bow to its greatness
and behold the beauty
of its power

Seasons

Springing and bounding like a lamb
Playfully, gamboling over the ground.
Rumbles of thunder assaulting the ear
Incessant lightning, earth trembling in fear.
Nature is fickle, and inscrutably wild,
Glowing with vigor--an unruly child.

Shimmering heat waves swim and rise,
Under the blazing, noonday skies.
Mercury rising, seeking the sky.
My vision is bleary--sweat in my eyes.
Everyone wondering, “When will it end?”
Remembering winter--bring it again.

Autumn colors flaming bright
Under azure autumn light.
Tender hearts holding fast
Untold feelings from the past.
Mellow, yellow, harvest moons,
Night time bonfires, off-key tunes.

White snow blanketing fallen leaves,
Icicles forming on dripping eaves.
North wind moaning through the trees,
Temperature falling below the knees.
Eagerly waiting for robins to sing,
Readily awaiting arrival of spring.

Premium Member On Cloud Nine

The earth is sleeping under the blanket of fog,
daylight gently awakens her from her stupor,
misty mountains melt in the magical morning,
as each step surprises us to what lays ahead,

The clouds float by, spreading their chillness in the air,
wispy breeze blows past sprinkling wintry cheer around,
atmospheric brume brushes away all boredom,
hovering haze heightens our heady adventure,

The climb uphill is as fuzzy as it can be,
vapours blur our vision and view of the valley,
beauty of the place is hid behind cloud curtains
with the biting weather assaulting our senses,

Walking through the clouds in an ethereal feel,
the presence of God is tangible than ever,
words cannot describe the artistry of that place,
some things must be experienced to be fathomed.

Premium Member Dying Bit By Bit Inside

When stars orange no longer mark
Their glitter in a nearby park
And crescent moon hides its face
I grasp memories to retrace
His laughter with those twinkled winks
Tuneful the voice O my heart blinks:

Giggling 'neath lamp posts... yet I know
Words now silenced by drools so low
That often I watch him every morn;
As Grandpa lies hushed, forlorn
While day recedes along clouds gray
His mind lost as if sighs betray
A glimpse blank, a flight to nowhere--
I die inside snared...life's unfair!

Is this a curse for the next years
Assaulting our joy, pierced by tears?

The music calls; how bit by bit
My breaths entrapped in a pit...
How then I dread what I might find
If gabs not in frolics enshrined.

Premium Member My Soul Finds Rest

My soul finds rest in God alone,
my rock and my salvation, He -
though arrows of the devil fly,
my fortress God shall ever be.

How long will sorrows plague my days?
Curses and lies assaulting me -
my soul finds rest in God alone,
my rock and my salvation, He.

O mighty rock! In you we trust,
and in your refuge we are blessed.
We pour out hearts of praise to you -
in you alone we find our rest.

We lowborn ones are but a breath,
unknowing of our length of days.
God is our loving source of strength,
most worthy of our highest praise.

Come end of troubled earthly days,
His follower's reward shall be
to find eternal rest in God;
our rock and our salvation, He.

Silver Linings

Look for the silver lining in everything you see,
Not all things are as they seem to be.

Abuse lurks behind poverty, frowns, money, and smiles.
Nobody knows the hurt of another’s trials.

When you think your whole world has fallen apart,
You are not alone with your broken heart.

There is the silver lining, look out and see your future
If abuse teaches anything, it is about human nature

No longer, be defined by hateful words of any woman or man
Let abuse teach you strength, and that you won’t be over 'ran.'

An abuser wants you to believe; you are nothing but a broken mess
Instead, decide about your very own happiness

It won’t be easy, but enough courage you will find
To take a stand for your future, and leave the abuser behind

If someone is assaulting your self-esteem
If they think they are funny when they are mean

Not another five minutes should you stay!
It just doesn’t have to be that way

Do not allow cruelty at your own expense,
A silver lining of loving yourself is your greatest defense.

Ebb Tide

EBB TIDE

We’d had an angry tearful spat
Don’t remember over what:
Stormed out of house down to beach.
Needed to clear my mind
For a few moments out of his reach:
Sniff air, breeze, spray - unwind.

Afternoon ebb tide girl -
Slow swash of rollers: break and curl
Of sand-filled muddy-brown swells,
Remnants of soapy foam, scummy rubble,
Shallow rattle of empty shells;
Cold slow plop of pebbles,

Where the furious morning breakers had died
Among the the rising billows’ wet tide,
Assaulting the dry beach,
Hurling mud and packed sand
And hard little stones up the reach
At the cliff beyond the strand.

Sweeping all the gravel over the lee,
On the smooth flat strand the shallow sea
Healed the wet beach: glassy shine -
Clear, cleansed, soothed with balm.
My heelprints filled quick and quiet with brine,
As I turned for home, calm.

Premium Member Law and Order

So, it starts years ago, with protests in the streets
People allowed to lay on the road, block traffic
Then, start fires, attack police, as they’re told to stand down!
Criminals with 18+ offenses free to roam as they please
Thousands others were released from prisons by Obama
Illegal immigrants were allowed to surge into our country
All while violating laws, without consequence!

Now, we have a new president accused of obstruction
While Congresswoman Pelosi, obstructs congress
Withholding articles of impeachment, after the vote!
Hollywood actors and actresses are threatening our president
Even offering to accept money to assassinate him, take his head!
All of this without consequence!

We have the group ANTIFA attacking supporters at rallies
Assaulting people, spitting in their face, without consequence
Then, we have sanctuary cities protecting illegal immigrants
They don’t even allow ICE to do their job accordingly!
Instead, they release them onto our streets to be free,
With prior records of rape and murder!

Now, we have all these problems with Iran happening
But if you look back in time, Obama sent 1.7 billion dollars
He sent the money on pallets to Iran, funneled to terrorists!
All of this was without consequence, no accountability!
This is only touching upon part of what is happening
These are things happening in the United States!
We are losing law and order and without it we will fall!

Premium Member Hunting Buddies

Christmas of my tenth year brought a four-ten shotgun.
No longer a tag-along kid
Assaulting the deep drifts struggling to keep up,
But a real hunting buddy.

First rule was to memorize the ten commandments of gun safety.
I labored with those rules.
Would we ever really go hunting?
We would go to the sand pits for target practice.
I could shoot good.

Then began lessons to drive.
Not really drive, but just as Daddy showed me,
I would, with exaggerated movements, put the car in forward,
Then reverse, and move it back and forth a few feet.
Stretching my spine to its straightest to see over the wheel,
And my toes to their longest to reach the clutch and break.
The makings of very heady stuff for such a little person to control a great monster
car.
I drove great adventures in those back and forth few feet.

I didn’t really comprehend what he meant
When he told me I might be the only one
To drive for help in case of an accident.
So I learned, and loved the driving too.

It made me more and more my daddy’s boy,
And more and more impatient for the day to come.
The car mastered,
We headed home from the sand pits.

The day was gray and damp and promising snow.
The car heater blasting back the cold.
Cheeks stinging with color,
I would finally, slowly, pull from memory each word of each rule,
Adding a definition in my own ten year old words.

With ear crushed to my bedroom door,
I strained with every fiber to hear Daddy’s muffled tones.
He told Mom he was going hunting in the morning.
Then with breath caught up in lungs so tense they hurt,
Eyes squinted so closed it forced a tear,
Just as if I made it happen, he added,
“I’ll be taking Judy.”

Premium Member Rowdy Wind

I

O hasty zephyr blindly scuttles past,
O’er dry forsaken mounds with tarnished grass;
Between a pillared mountain weak but vast.

A force that bends and fashions broken glass,
Reflecting in advance, recorded path;
Stirring fervent as it rises to pass.

Transporting active seedlings gone with wrath,
Existent flora blankets naked floor;
Serenely downcast holds the aftermath.

Disruptive wind that blows forever more,
Invokes tenacity for longer life;
Upon engaged terrain to salty shore.

Melodiously blow away lifeless air,
With wild direction - breathe - devoid of flair.

II

Invading wind complains with beasts of night,
With howling moan that steals away a kiss;
Until the dawn that takes thee from fine sight.

Encroaching wind that sends away the bliss,
On wings that will not cease to be aloft;
Like thief of gloom, with not a thing to miss.

Thou dare to scream at loveliness too oft,
Transforming life to death and back again;
Can gently spread with love a soothing waft.

Assaulting wind declares where sites have been,
Along a beaten course that dip and turn;
Is carving grooves in mountains for new glen.

Thou swift impulsive move not grave concern,
Until all life has paused for gale’s return.

Premium Member Drench Me American Sky -

They want to burn the flag today
to them America's blood born banner
represents jingoism, a false heroism of a broken day
a culture illegitimate in divine manner,
feeling excluded from rich spiritual deposits
cursing the color of a People truly progressive
a breed disinterested in the Marxist and Maoist,
feminists and racists come to set fire to Liberty's starry votive,
impudently waving the national rags
of failed narco states and theocratic tyrannies
chanting dystopic glories of thuggish brags
with savage violence assaulting children, women, and men with American identities,
have they ever bothered to read the 1st, 9th, or 13th Amendments
will they ever realize the illusion of ideological hatred,
in our land they live with victory's compliments
yet grown fat on the lies they've been easily fed,

We, Americans, have a heritage, and citizenry
composed of good natured, disciplined hearts,
educated, informed, and compassionate to humanity,
folk, from every continent, creed and diverse smarts,
Come, you ignorant miscreants
come and burn this flag I wear with honor and pride,
come burn it,
Over My Dead Body!

Demon of the Night

A. W. Nutter

In the darkness is where I love to dwell
Atrocities performed will send me to hell
A ladies perfume assaulting my senses
My mind visualizing the sensual caresses

She walks alone on a moonlit night
Unaware of the demon hidden out of sight
Grabbing her quickly, muffling her objections
Excitement builds as I gain her submission

No hero to save this damsel in distress
As the blade of my knife shreds her dress
Naked and vulnerable, I tie her to the stone
Many have died on this sacrificial throne

Pleading for mercy only fuels my desire
My passion building with an internal fire
Only one way to quench the erotic flame
To her body and soul, I must lay claim

Holding her tightly, I gaze into her eyes
The cold steel slowly piercing her side
Advancing toward the girls racing heart
Needing to be ready when her soul departs

Writhing in pain, my lady meets her death
My lips on hers catching the final breath
The soul acquired, sexual release attained
Falling from the stone, physically drained

Dawn shines a light on my transgression
For a lingering moment I ponder salvation
I feel the perversion rekindling the flame
Powerless to stop this erotic game

Aural Assault

Thump, thump, thump,
Like the beat of a heart,
The speakers scream and howl,
As they shake the car apart.

What are those words I hear,
They hide behind the beat,
Assaulting my aural senses,
As you pass me in the street.

Sex and drugs,
Violence and hate,
Strange themes for a song,
That you think is great.

You call this music art,
I just call it rap,
But some have the opinion,
That it’s nothing more than ...
