~ As embers cast their seedlings to the tide,
relentless rants of endless acrid winds
attenuate the brittle countryside,
releasing spite, as hopelessness descends.
Scorching plumes infuse a septic, swirling,
noxious residue into the feral
timberlands, unleashing toxic, whirling
clouds of grimace, rendering them sterile.
The Devil's rage holds taut the torrid brush
that strokes the bramble sage with streaks of fire,
salvation chokes upon this lethal blush
as Hell provokes the cinders of its pyre.
The searing wrath leaves silence in its stride
as embers cast their seedlings to the tide.

In my dreams, nothing has ever been so clear.
In my dreams.
Not passion, but
exhaustion,
heavy sky pressing my mind
hoping for higher, higher
clinging sideways and down the ceiling.
Days touching nothing.
IF I’ve listened to you.
Seeing the world is not capturing the world.
I am a fragile thing.
The priest mouth full of words
Does not attenuate thirsty for silence dying.
But, strangely alive
The birds will come,
Praying keep me awake
Fire, ash, wind. I wait

Hiromita your domicile lies in wait
Make haste to your earthly gate
Earth shakes bold; steady your
estate
Ocean's waves, briny stew doth
impregnate
Shelter your crops; your chicken
coop insulate
Another tremor, with calamity
don't equate
With phosphorous-laden breezes
your senses fondly relate
With a steady compass, another
storm you'll navigate
Your indestructible hearth is
melded to malleable plate
Many times battered; but never
did obliterate
Your parents bid adieu, but you
must wait
Dispensing the stores as an
efficient magnate
Your spindly wife shares your
passive fate
No time her tendered fealty to
contemplate
With due speed she puts away
each sack, crate
Then both ascending to the upper
floor the tides to mitigate
Home buttressed; hopes, dreams
still ingratiate
Looking windoward, a dark,
towering mass doth peril insinuate
You turn inward hoping your fears
to attenuate
The merciless surge rolls; you
clasp hands the force to abrogate
The black debris wave slams your
home, the pummeled timbers
capitulate
Your filial bond doth sever; your
domesticated world annihilate

you said you were coming back
but you didn't change direction
I've waited long enough
you cried wolf once too much
no response to multimedia
as I slowly attenuate
if you finally respond
I forgot the question
it was probably just a ploy
another sleight of hand
the ante is much to rich
anyway, what could it matter
I couldn't change your heart
I couldn't change your mind
love makes many a fool
and I was one for you
you said you were coming back
no response to multimedia
it was probably just a ploy
I couldn't change your heart

Something’s under my skin
Afflicting my every breath
I might lose this conflict
Maybe if I
Open a window of new breezes
Rattling in my attenuate conscious
So now I am
Feverously irascible
At the only creator of myself
The path was lined with nails and pieces of glass
And I collect them along the way
And spit them far from my heart
Because I’m run out of origin
I am standing in a puddle
Nearly empty
