In the sky, a brightly shining sun
is sending rays to catch someone,
but 'neath the trees I swiftly run.

Now, the hunt is taken by the moon,
but she won't snatch me very soon.
I peek from bed at that cratered goon,

who, undaunted, does then recruit
reinforcements, evil stars that shoot
twinkles at me, in hot pursuit,

ASTRONOMICAL BEINGS

Astronauts on an assignment.
Temporary, our confinement
In a rocketship of travel...
Above the earth to unravel
Planets out of their alignment.

Our past of conquering the moon...
My crew and I in our platoon.
With craters full of cavity
Amidst its zero gravity,
We returned home without maroon.

Within this endless field of stars...
Now, we bypass neighbouring Mars.
In the future - sometime, someday...
Sustainment of

Phobos will crash into Earth on Mars Day

Awaiting bristled whisper of ghost jounced leaves
Lain gazing galaxies far from terra's tarpaulin roof
Exciting diamonds claw for cosy navy ink reprieve
Hark my insignificance in succinct majesty's truth

Hushed by muchness, my warmth absorbs His plenty
Lapped by luminous lure, iced gateau half eaten moon
Crumbled among sudden calm of Master's immensity
Awash in melodic acknowledgement, midnight's

Premium MemberThe Astronomical Mighty Maybe

By the time you see me,
I'll be a long since past;
By the time you read me,
Your fortune will be cast.
While I brighten your night
With my twinkling light,
Know that your very existence...
Is but a miracle of might.

A merry display of earth’s socks from space.
They’re head over heels — a holiday ace.
Their Santa hats rock
with floating pom flocks.
These weightless bioches from space.

ASTRONOMICAL

tempo of the ocean
drama of the season
planet acrobatics

speed

how…

extravagant
our drunken heart

seem
