Morose temper, hauling like a deranged fox
   Tongues idle within cracked lips
    Herbs ashing between finger tips

I am coming
Heart beats and pumps sweat
So little now does my blood leak
Much more will be of the ungodly
Soon so much more will they fret
As i hung on the cross and ended the beginning thereof 
Of this body i now possess
On the many snakes that slither toward me
I will, on them
 forever tread
Let their heads ring with hatred towards me
Amidst the fire, i will just laugh in all this
The flames scorch them as they fold for themselves ashing blankets and make coals their beds
All these words will soon surface when my hand is stretched
Locked on the target,
I aim at their many heads
I am one trifold in all of this

Pray To God and He Will Listen

P-ray to God and He'll listen, 
R-emain firm and faithful; 
I-n spite of the rugged wind, 
N-ight chill, pain and trouble.
C-all on God and He'll listen, 
E-levate your total trust; 
S-un will come up again, 
S-hadows will never last.

L-et your prayers be heard, 
A-s you bend both your knees; 
M-ake both your eyes close, 
A-nd hope for God's promise.
D-on't hesitate to pray, 
R-elay your cares to the Almighty; 
I-nstead of being too timid, 
D-ashing servant you must be.

B-e prayerful to the Lord, 
U-nderneath the blue sky; 
T-enth November morn, 
I-mplore Him to let tears dry.
A-llow your heart to prepare, and let your lips open; 
L-et your mind meditate, pray to God and He'll listen.

The Tanker's Final Journey

Ominous clouds cluster on the horizon,
Immense waves smash over the deck,
Lashing! Crashing!  Punishing!  Pounding!
Screeching metal as the hull bursts open,
Pouring its jet black cargo
Into the frothing, raging ocean.
Lightning flashes, illuminates a tragedy;
Liquid death spills from its broken heart.

Box of Chocolates

B arbarians and intellectuals promote winds of change
O nly the blameless ones will be left over, to turn the page
X enophobia will be gone, good riddance to evil pride

O bvious to news watchers, violence is taking control
F orecasts of gloom, become a weariness to the soul

C hange is coming, but, in the end, life will be better
H olocaust shadows predicting even stormier weather
O xy morons prefer brutal cruelty to human kindness
C ataclysmic shifting of world economies tectonic plates
O pulence and greed spitting into poor poverty's face
L ashing out vociferously against any one who is different
A pathy and willful blindness is the trendy new religion
T ime is running out for all who promote hate and fear
E veryone is equal, in God's eyes, even he sheds a tear
S oon, very soon gale winds of change are going to blow

         Will we all survive? Only God knows!

Space

So much obscurity with no sign of light.                               
     Hope begs the question is there help in sight?         
Past, present, and future are mangled in time. 
     Enters the Captain - buckle-up for flight.
Across the universe, passage bought for a dime. 
     A countdown begins; it’s the end of the line… 
Cashing-in what is left of my mind, 
     Ready to reschedule this mission of mine.
Envy my trip but heed the sign: 
     The SPACE around his HEART is dark and sublime.

BIRDS

    B    reathless each day the winged ones burst and unite into the twilight frieze--
     I     s there a more delicate touch to the sight than the songbirds as they take to the sky?
     R    eveling while entwined with the tailwinds-- delighting the indigo breeze,
     D    ashing on the last rays of sun to nip the laziest mosquito on the fly --
     S    ong of the satisfied sung—they fade into the welcoming night bosom of the trees.
