So much obscurity with no sign of light.
Hope begs the question is there help in sight?
Past, present, and future are mangled in time.
Enters the Captain - buckle-up for flight.
Across the universe, passage bought for a dime.
A countdown begins; it’s the end of the line…
Cashing-in what is left of my mind,
Ready to reschedule this mission of mine.
Envy my trip but heed the sign:
The SPACE around his HEART is dark and sublime.

BIRDS
B reathless each day the winged ones burst and unite into the twilight frieze--
I s there a more delicate touch to the sight than the songbirds as they take to the sky?
R eveling while entwined with the tailwinds-- delighting the indigo breeze,
D ashing on the last rays of sun to nip the laziest mosquito on the fly --
S ong of the satisfied sung—they fade into the welcoming night bosom of the trees.

B arbarians and intellectuals promote winds of change

Ominous clouds cluster on the horizon,
Immense waves smash over the deck,
Lashing! Crashing! Punishing! Pounding!
Screeching metal as the hull bursts open,
Pouring its jet black cargo
Into the frothing, raging ocean.
Lightning flashes, illuminates a tragedy;
Liquid death spills from its broken heart.

Half-breed Hades and his helter-skelter handmaiden
Abysmally arrogant abase audaciously
Larcenous liaison of Lucifer’s love children
Lashing lepers in a legendary labyrinth
Ostracizing and obliterating others
Wailing wretchedness while warpainted warmongers
Earmark eerie entities for evil escapades
Endorsing the eager envoy for entanglement
Noxious narcissistic nauseating necropolis
Macabre masquerade of merciless marauders
Oblivious outcasts overwhelm outrageously
Owning the occult offering obituaries
Nefarious nocturnal neighbours nether and nigh

G ravity held me; standing on my feet

raindrops collect on corrogated tin metal
Which covers me in the early morning.
i remember sitting on those steps
and listening to each distinct
drip..drop..drip..
that would come off of the leaves
and trees as the rain fell.
and i suppose there was some
reason to be found or maybe
a requem or some somber sound,
but for me it was always peaceful.
the clouds seemed lift and offer up their
palms and the mud puddles would be
full of sparatic rejoicing.
fearns and trees and rust and clouds
and foggy breath with me ashing a
cigerrette into a rusty tin can.
and i suppose you can find beauty
in between several blades of grass.
and i guess that there may be some
meaning in a poem about a kid smoking
cigerettes on the back porch in the rain
next to a rusty can full of to many and's.

She's choking on blood clots
over the moon
her mind has gone wondering and
it won't be back soon.
She's talking to angels
under the sea
her windy expression
is causing a breeze.
She's purple mixtures
of all that's not good,
her shape isn't changing
i don't think that it could.
She walks with the devil
and flies with the birds.
Her mouth is an ashtray
and she's ashing her words.

Limerick
I wear a Baja Rosa t-shirt with a huge sun on it and look into a mirror disguised
as a bicycle tire reminding me to exercise
light a cigarette and ash my incense into the three skulls of the ashtray of life
and like the four monkeys of see hear say and do
I swat them away just like flies
the white wax has melted away and the wick burns into the black
the pieces of the musical muse I listen to guide
the ghost I am
flicking the lights off and on in patterns as I haunt this ghetto
captured on satellite
through telepathy I control the radio
and above my alter is a picture of a cocktail of prescription pills
but I'm overmedicated to predict my own surprise birthday party
so the monster in the mirror
and the shadows that dance and hide in the corners
and cubicle soft my mind
twist and coil
in the black light
when I open and shut the doors in the same metaphorical order
a fortune teller
a palm reader
who predicts attacks and world events
leaders spy on my I tell you
and this monster in the mirror
surrounding my reality
is my curse upon the plagues
\they deliver unto men
the scar of my lungs into cigarettes
the three faces of death as I sip vodka from a glass covered in sheep
ashing my stick of incense as my tarot cards are wrapped in
the bandages of rubber bands
and the hanged man on my alter of symbology can no longer mind read

I am coming
Heart beats and pumps sweat
So little now does my blood leak
Much more will be of the ungodly
Soon so much more will they fret
As i hung on the cross and ended the beginning thereof
Of this body i now possess
On the many snakes that slither toward me
I will, on them
forever tread
Let their heads ring with hatred towards me
Amidst the fire, i will just laugh in all this
The flames scorch them as they fold for themselves ashing blankets and make coals their beds
All these words will soon surface when my hand is stretched
Locked on the target,
I aim at their many heads
I am one trifold in all of this
