Ominous clouds cluster on the horizon,
Immense waves smash over the deck,
Lashing! Crashing!  Punishing!  Pounding!
Screeching metal as the hull bursts open,
Pouring its jet black cargo
Into the frothing, raging ocean.
Lightning flashes, illuminates a tragedy;
Liquid death spills from its broken heart.

She's choking on blood clots 
over the moon
her mind has gone wondering and 
it won't be back soon.

She's talking to angels 
under the sea
her windy expression 
is causing a breeze.

She's purple mixtures
of all that's not good,
her shape isn't changing
i don't think that it could.

She walks with the devil 
and flies with the birds.
Her mouth is an ashtray
and she's ashing her words.

BIRDS

    B    reathless each day the winged ones burst and unite into the twilight frieze--
     I     s there a more delicate touch to the sight than the songbirds as they take to the sky?
     R    eveling while entwined with the tailwinds-- delighting the indigo breeze,
     D    ashing on the last rays of sun to nip the laziest mosquito on the fly --
     S    ong of the satisfied sung—they fade into the welcoming night bosom of the trees.
