It’s bleeped on every station.
Yet somehow, now, the “leader”
Of this once-respected nation
Can read and post a message
There for everyone to catch,
With a F**K YOU and a B***ARD
Written out in ALL CAPS, natch.
What a shining fine example
For our kids and grands to follow!
Correcting their obscenities
Will come across as hollow.
Yet this is what we’re stuck with,
Every awful trait unfurled.
It’s no wonder we are mocked
In every corner of the world.
Welsh Rarebit (cheese on toast if you prefer)
Easy to prepare, so no time wasted.
Lighted candles make it seem romantic.
Sure you’ll love it darling, once you’ve tried it.
Hard times these, so beggars can’t be choosers.
Render a little butter in the pan,
Add some Cheddar cheese and mustard to it.
Reminds me of my happy childhood days
Every time I have the urge to do it.
Brown bread toasted (bit healthier that white)
It’s time to serve it up by candlelight.
There, I said romance would blossom tonight!

Peculiar to our County
A climate that makes us ‘ard
And why we treat our weather
With much respect and regard.
That’s why we start ‘em young
Recommend dress that’s best
Clothing suited for the weather
From t-shirt to thermal vest.
We take weather serious in Yorks
It has that style verve and punch.
And we know the difference between
‘unch, ‘unch, and bloody ‘unch.

ARD = All Run Down
OMG = Oh My God!
WAB = What a Bod!
OTL = On the Loose
OTJ = Off the Juice

He told me if a hurry up,
A can chop some stiks an all.
But if tha wants another tanna,
A gorra mek um small.
He watched me gerrin coal in,
He anded me a shillin.
If tha wants that extra tanna lad,
Them bags o stiks want fillin.
A BOB and a shilling were the same value
Equivalent to 5 new pence(12 old penny's)
A tanner was 2 1/2 new pence(6 old penny's)

Exculpated lies of Wicked Wild West.
Victorious legacy earned at his best.
