Father's Day

Footprints left on the shores of my life - my father’s,
Amazingly strong to offer refuge and protect shelterless,
Truly compassionate to unfortunate fellow men,
Hard work inspired many to rise above their misfortunes,
Embraced nature and enjoyed company of children,
Reached life's goals with sheer determination, and courage,
Sky's the limit for a man of indomitable spirit and bravery,

Daunting many adverse situations being calm and decisive,
A doting father, a visionary - remembered with immense love and pride,
             Yet missed each and every day !
