Another Version

Is there another version of you
Where your eyes aren't this pretty
Your voice not so husky
Your hair unkempt
Your body frail?

Is there another version of you
Where your laughter isn't lilting
Where you aren't always smiling
Where you let yourself be?

Is there another version of you
where you cry in the open
And appear weaker to the world

Is there another version of you
The one thst you hide from everyone else
Where you aren't such an extrovert
Where you aren't always chirpy

Is there another version of you
Where you are cold and shivering
And not always this warm
a version that you keep to yourself?

Another Lost Friday

It's Friday
I sit patiently
There is a feeling of hope
TODAY WILL BE THE DAY
but I know it wont
I feel more alive
on the losses
then on the wins
There is no joy in winning
I am not sure why
Its the pit in my stomach losing
that I keep repeating
I always know the outcome
yet I sit there
numb to the money
being sucked up like a vacuum
I see it leave
but I am frozen
in my seat
My feet do not move
I want to leave
I just watch
unaware of the hours that have passed
of the time wasted
I could be outside
with the sun on my face
I could be eating an amazing meal
All the what if's
flow through my mind
I sit in my chair
Deaf dumb and blind.

HUMAN LIFE

Human life is the most precious gift given to us by the Creator
we are supposed to be higher than the wild beast in the field

today's humans have lost their way and have become lower, than the wild beast in the field
we have forgotten that we are" the children of the most high" Created in love

We are our brothers' keepers, condemn the wrong and extol the right, when we see it in each other
telling the truth helps to keep us on the right path on this life's journey

another universe

some loves bout lost come go almost all sorts
motives remain true pure until find not
list least cain hope fewer no good reports
still life like love moves backing forth cold hot
back outing again own each such sigh wish
loss lasts long gone fast run use eye oui next
stuff split rough two there one bright here blue dish
but still be same unself self sans pretext
wait patient fourth floor first ready confess
one day then now was dreamed real life unfold
four most seven great death comes not success
some would telling kisses end life untold
try may believe yes if not near reverse
mind conceives lives another universe

For It Is Just Another Dream

For it is just another dream, that i do not wanted to sleep
Rigid past and cultural anemonies, wow that is so bad
Well, I have met this girl, after I tried to take it all
For myself ever never thought love would be a choice
Something made me swirl, for the emotions to come
For something myself never regret coming from
It was about and never from 2024, nor 25
It is about the present, something I hope would never seen
Where I cried in my pillows, the short message spanned
More weeks? More years? i do not know
I just want her near me - not obsessed for sure
But love is clear, I never wanted her time - presence commits
It may be, so something, that clearly uncommon
That this chances would come, for me to change myself
Upon the misery, the wisdom cannot help
But my heart trembles and I know it is not deaf
Give a chance - a man would wanted, or maybe more years.

Premium Member another life lesson

what is wriggling under my bare foot?
oh goodie a wasp
hooray hooray
in the bedroom on my carpeting
lovely
I used a piece of cardboard and flipped it outside onto the porch
my puppy went after it
another life lesson for him

Words "can" cure blindness

When my eyes deceived

One word of kindness

Relaxed and relieved

So close to blindness

Your words weren't in vain

One "dose" of kindness

Soon eases the pain

One fact reminds us

Works better than "pills"

One "drop" of kindness

Can "cure" the world's ills

Please cure "our" blindness

Our "death" so it seems

One "act" of kindness

God's "breath" fills our dreams

Let loose the "insanity!"...and let loose your "humanity!"

Remember...kindness is "contagious!"

Dance Of The Grim Reaper

Death walks slowly down the street
with the hood pulled way down low
ain't no sound no not even his feet
his hourglass ready to go
are you ready hey are you ready for this
are you sitting on the edge of your seat
out of the doorway the soul-scythe rips
the end prepare to meet yeah
'bomp' 'bomp' 'bomp'
another goes to the dogs
'bomp' 'bomp' 'bomp'
another falls off his log
and another one gone and another one gone
another one down the bogs
hey I'm gonna get you too
another one pops his clogs

With apologies to Freddie Mercury (1946 – 1991) & Queen

Premium Member HOLD ON TO ONE ANOTHER

May we be blessed
in this unpredictable and oftentimes scary world…
to make it part of our plan..
to love and hold on to one other
as often as we can

Another Mass Shooting

Another Mass Shooting
What's wrong with this country
Put your arms around the cities
Another horrific shooting
Another historical tragedy
Guns and bullets to destroy our lives
Innocent children have to see this
Our hearts goes out to the victims
Another church shooting targeted
With no morals
No fear of judgment
More bullets flying
The world is burning
Another unraveled town
Someone has to pick up the pieces
Violence will never end
More flowers placed on the graves
Look up to the Cross
There’s no reason for this
Leave all of this behind
Another motive unwind
No one deserves this
Stand united with open arms

Fascinated, Gainfully Harnessed, Impishly Joyful
Again, a contest I can't deny.
There's someone though, who makes me grateful
While I sit and ponder, knowing my.

Kind, Loyal, Muse, Nicely Observes
My constant request for her inspiration.
By finding words this poem deserves
Through her obliging communication.

Perusing Quests Requires Studious Time
To edit, correct, some lines rearrange.
Ensuring then my end words all rhyme
Therefore, deliberate lines to exchange.

Unquestioned Victory, With Xenial Yes!
Together my muse and I agree.
These words are ours, but now confess
My secret muse is really like me!

Just Another Day

Birthday
Special day

Day we reckon as special
Deviate from normal

Indulge in celebration
Spotlighting attention

None in Nature ever celebrates
All perform their usual duties

Stars, Sun, Moon, Trees, Rivers, Hills
All Wonders, none yearns for wishes

Birth, Death ends of same spectrum
Life in between is real celebration

Celebrate moments with gratitude
Wish well, help others gain altitude

Birthday
Just another day

INTO ANOTHER WORLD

While I was meditating
Then I started visualizing
And I saw a world
That world seems differ
Different and far away from planet earth.

Just like astronaut
I traveled from Earth
To that wondrous world
Exploring without fear of the unknown
Then I emerge
It's a civilized world
Not a jungle world
A world without war, propaganda or dictators.

In this world
They're always ready for growth
Love ruleth over hate
Courage over fear
They strive and thrive together
Very united, no apartheid
Creativity, productivity, positivity etc
Their demonstration without hesitation.

DAWNING ANOTHER DAY

Like sunshine of day,
Again, I have my dawning;
Glory to God:-
May divine wisdom and guidance
Lead me in labors of love.

In this day’s sojourn,
May I be a sower of
Determination:
Cultivating hope and faith
In conquering all evils:-

Use me today God,
In making this thankful day
One to be be glad in:
A day of overcoming
All trials and tribulations:-
