Premium Member Annoyance!!! Too Many Regulations

This poem is an Acrostic Monorhyme

C onstant fear tactics are employed
O vertake the many freedoms once enjoyed
N ever any love there is a void
S ystem is so broken our souls so often toyed
U nsavoury propaganda regularly deployed
M any regulations are you feeling much annoyed?
E very government organisation, ethics so devoid
R eturn to honesty joy and laughter society would be buoyed
S eek a haven all these shackles to avoid

Premium Member A quit day

The dew, sunshine, autumn and spring
Nature stirs in virtue and the birds sing
Heart and soul flying on vibrant wings
With joy and delight in ample swing

In my garden with beauty and grace
I sit merging with serenity and calm
                                 Imbued with harmony and accord
Passing a day of fulfillment and ease

In the company of boughs and leaves
With beauty of flowers ready to bloom
                               Rejoicing aroma of retreating autumn
In cool breeze, blue sky and subtle sun

Beyond good and bad, high and low
Away from turmoil of worldly banes
In embrace of my vibe and ambiance
I live moments in silence and ecstasy

Math

Oh, what a hideous subject to cross my path,
Addition, subtraction, division, multiplication,
Percentages and fractions, those I can grasp,
But the rest, oh, I wish to throw you in the pit,
I can’t see your point of view no matter what you do.

To me, you're the dragon that bites off my head,
A vicious lion, while I’m the innocent bunny that is caught in your claws.
You're the shark, and I am the fish you are gobbling up,
So don’t pretend that you're a friend to me.

I truly dislike you,
When you appear on my screen.
I imagine a million ways to get rid of you,
I'd toss you in a garbage disposal,
Watch you grind up into a million different pieces.
I'd throw you into the deepest part of the ocean's,
I wouldn’t be sad as I watch you sink.
Oh, if only I could launch you into space,
So fast that NASA would think you’re a UFO.
I wouldn’t regret your departure,
So far that you crash-land on Jupiter's third moon.

But in the end, it’s all just fantasy,
For it’s clear you’ll most likely be the death of me,
Before my school years are through.

Annoyed at First Sight

I saw you, and I sighed,
With a glare I tried to hide.
"Who’s this person?" I thought with a frown,
In a crowded room, you turned me down.

You laughed too loud, your smile so bright,
I rolled my eyes, not wanting the light.
But as we talked, the fun started to show,
Annoyance faded; my heart said, “Let’s go.”

So maybe first glances aren’t all that they seem,
Sometimes annoyance hides a new dream.
In the moments we clash, something strong may ignite,
From annoyed at first sight to love that feels right.

Premium Member Insignificant Man Annoyance a Nat-

insignificant
man smaller than insect so
in kind bothersome
~
like a nat falling
to and fro unwavering
bothersome in kind
~
always around buzzing just
in my space in the way on
the way by the way
~
compelling annoyed
so in tune touching my peace
still bothersome so
~
insignificant
man smaller than insect so
in kind bothersome
~
still a nat falling
to and fro unwavering
bothersome in kind

Verse in a Vase

This verse offers such flowers,
gives them to us,
presents a vase of verse
so simply, yet with grace.

So simply, too, do we
receive them with that grace,
presented as they are
within this dainty vase.

Such a vase, with grace,
such flowers, with grace,
such a vase of verse
containing those flowers with finesse.

Why do we try so hard to create
verse for flowers and a vase
employing such a dainty voice
while we curse so much, oh yes, so much?

Premium Member The Neighbor's Party

Sounds of laughter from across the way
Another victory celebration under the stars,
I hear the lovely exclamations of jubilation
My neighbors certainly know how to play.

I could be perturbed by the noise, I suppose,
Or, angrily, even raise a ruckus of my own
But, had I been invited to share in the revelry,
I fear I wouldn’t have had the proper clothes.

Curtains

Curtains fall

Amazing,

How people assume they can mold

Not a pot but your life

People believe they have opinions

A right to coerce the steps in your life choices

A truth told by someone else

Isn’t your truth

People only have ideas

You may pick up

No, right just their offers behind the curtains

It easy for them to mistaken

And it’s your right to undervalue their opinion

Not that it counts

A Unique Resignation Letter To Annoyance

dear annoyance
i hearby surrender my resignation
i am moving on to a much quieter place
where i am going, i will not be by myself everyday
where i am going, i will get adequate replies
where i am going, i will not have to envision rolling eyes
where i am going, people care and into space they will not stare
where i am going, i will finally be rich with acceptance and love
thank you for all that you have shown me
i have learned from you and have become motivated by you despite your ratchet heartlessness
neverthess, my dear annoyance, i wish you all the best
i know i am replaceable, and you will most certainly move on

Sincerely NOT Your ANYMORE,

Feel like an annoyance every damn day
Now old and useless, a teener should've stayed
Young, brash and chipper
Was a sweet wee nipper
Now a stumbling old retard needing constant aid

why do you exasperate me so?

every single day
a new opportunity
to get ’neath my skin

you thrive so on making inconvenience
your favorite hobby of annoyance
