The Neighbor's Party

Sounds of laughter from across the way Another victory celebration under the stars, I hear the lovely exclamations of jubilation My neighbors certainly know how to play. I could be perturbed by the noise, I suppose, Or, angrily, even raise a ruckus of my own But, had I been invited to share in the revelry, I fear I wouldn’t have had the proper clothes. written February 28, 2022

Hi Milt, Sounds like a good party. Maybe they are wearing the same suit lol! I chuckled at the second stanza. I enjoyed the read, thanks for the laugh-Alexis

Laughing with you, Alexis. The twist just came to me. My Deb was always saying she didn't have anything to wear. She had closets full of clothes! Me, only a small closet. She loved clothes.

It's what's beneath the clothes that matters. I think I heard these words spoken before. Have your own party, Milt! Yahoooo!!...ab

There you go! I'll bet your wife said, "I just don't have a thing to wear!" Mine did.
