I've seen a lot of places
I've seen a lot of pain

I've seen of so many people
Give their love in vain

I've walked on every continent
Swam in every sea

But when it comes to truly seeing things
There's nothing like you to me

You are kind
and you are good

You show love for most everyone
Just like we all should

My first-born miracle,
You blessed my youth
And forever, my heart
With your liquid brown gaze.
All the men in your life

thought she was so much grander;
