Ode to Amanda Gorman Poet
Amanda Gorman in Voyage Magazine;
Appeared so natural as well as serene;
First for a black person this and that;
Had heard her read poem as we sat.
Much honor on her was bestowed;
Excellent manner with honorable mode;
Never forget and seemed so revealing;
Poem she read excellent and appealing.
What our President did will be to invite;
At inauguration with poem she did write;
Her poem all of us would impress;
In picture shown wore a pretty dress.
