Allergies
The bane of my existence
You Make sleep impossible
You Make eating a hassle
You ruin my whole week
Just by existing
Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
No longer a staple of school lunches.
Too many children with allergies.

allergies make me cough, wheeze, hack and sneeze
I’d like to not be allergic, if you please
but God had other ideas, and so I sneeze and wheeze
Unsure why some of us have these terrible allergies.
milk, eggs, shellfish
three common allergies
I know a family who lost a two-year-old son to milk
almonds, walnuts, peanuts, wheat and soybeans
five more common allergies
if you open a peanut butter jar, it can be deadly to some
my nemesis is hazelnut
after consuming, my throat closes up
I am wheezing and can barely breathe, needing my inhaler
English walnuts are a close second for me
after eating them, my mouth erupts into giant canker sores
all around my gums
something else creates hives in me.
We do not know if it is a food or what.
allergies seem to go hand-in-hand with having asthma
other symptoms of food allergies are
itching of the mouth, vomiting, and wheezing
Food allergies are serious; sometimes epi pens are necessary.
coughing and sneezing
allergies are kicking in
enjoying mucus
Spring is here to stay
For three months, hooray!
More bluebirds are chanting
More tulips are blooming
More trees are growing
And dusts are in the air.
The weather is cool, not cold
More houses are being sold
More joggers run in the streets
More retirees are warming the seats
More athletes are at their meets
And allergies are in the air.
Spring is here to stay
For a quarter of the year, hooray!

steady, gentle breeze
ruffling almond tree blossoms~
red, runny noses
I’m trying to write but I can not
At this time nose is full of snot
I don’t have covid or a cold
Wouldn't know it why I told you so
Tis such a pain when on the PC
My nose and brain start draining
I can not write due to allergies
So goodnight I’m going to sleep.
I'm starting to feel that some thing major may be amiss,
when I asked myself this am where is my water dish.
I truly love dogs but currently own none.
Could it be possible that I am turning into one?
I enjoy my exercise and like to eat alot.
Some days I now pant, especially when it's hot.
Most mornings I'm energetic but later my energies zapped.
I'll curl up with a book and take an afternoon nap.
My skin is dry and itchy.
I thought it allergies.
Could it be that some thing else is going on with me?
I love to greet people where ever I go.
I really hope I don't wag my tail to and fro.
They say that a dog lives seven years to are one,
so if I'm now a dog this life is more then done.
ALLERGIES
I’m tired of these rains of salty tears
Caused by allergens in my atmosphere.
Since allergies last the entire year,
Why they’re called “seasonal” isn’t clear.
The stinging spores are always near,
Welling and swelling and telling,
I fear, of my constant felling
From constant tears.
I can’t get my eye makeup to take,
Shake, bake, or stay
Because it bleeds and flakes
Due to the water my eyes always make.
So thanks for nothing, Allergies!
?How you piss off a priss like me!
You take great liberties but show no civility,
Increasing and releasing
Dark shadows doing battle
In all places and spaces on my face;?
Usually lovely but “seasonably” ugly
From the super-puffy, very stuffy
Watery, red, and watershed
Eyes I temporarily despise
Because of these constant cries
I can’t defy, deny, or hide,
No matter how hard I try.
I’m stuck with the leaks, peeps,
So if you care about skin, nails, and hair,
Beauty tips, bowed lips, and my clever quips,
Please say a prayer my face is spared,
Not too wizened and pared
Into a beady raisin
By these godforsaken
Allergies which constantly
And relentlessly torment me!
red eyes
teary
itchy
bleary
view is
dreary
feeling
weary
dull and
drowsy
looking
lousy
big loud
sneezes
Nature
teases
strong pills
eyedrops
irksome
itch stops
no more
ACHOO’s~~
good-bye
to blues.

A nose malady
autumn smells of burning leaves
inhalers handy
smoky trails wind heavenward,
‘midst sneezes I wheeze a word

Allergies, why do you plague me?
Making my head feel like a balloon
ready to bust open
My eyes water and burn
Allergies, why must you plague me?
Oh, I can feel the migraine
you cause trying to come on
My nose is trying to run away too
Allergies, why must you plague me so?
You make me want to rip my eyes out
Tear off my nose
Or even worse, cut off my head
Allergies do stop bugging me
My head is in misery
I just want to sleep
and do absolutely nothing
A field full of lovely black-eyed susans
A patch of ground I must view from afar,
For my allergies flare at the intrusions
My sinuses start burning like fire.
My eyes erupt in uncontrollable tears,
The nasal passages completely plug up,
I feel like my head is about to explode
I’ll have a miserable allergic flare-up.
Ragweed causes a similar reaction
Whenever I am near it, sight unseen,
So, I have learned to avoid these plants
Allergy sufferers will know what I mean!

At last spring is coming—Achoo!--
with songbirds and skies of clear blue.
My nose will be dripping
and meds I’ll be sipping
while lovely blooms burst into view.
Though allergies briefly displease
my joy won’t be quelled by a sneeze.
My eyes will be bleary,
red, itchy, and teary;
but bring on those fun springtime sprees!
