They live and Breathe
Words are spoken
Yet there is a separation
Race seems to be a curse
Needs to be a turnaround in reverse
Change in attitude and thinking
Transforming the Tongue
Race created from a higher calling becoming among
Together we stand and fall
Race is like half and half
One side Embraces and the other side avoids
Words sound alike, but becomes uncertainty
Assumption bound
Hatred in the sound
Guilt in refusing
Concept in not accepting, but aiming high in not wanting to know
One day, One day, all voices coming together in unity
Not like us
No need to cuss nor fuss
All races are the added plus.

Forgotten dream

(10 words).
Equality, democracy, aiming high, seem
Globaly now, mankind's forgotten dream.

Setting Goals beyond the Sky

Aiming high, you set your sights
On goals that seem to touch the lights
But if you fall, and failure comes
You'll land on heights that others call their summits

Your failure will be higher than their win
A testament to the scale you had in
Your dreams, though unfulfilled, declare
A courage that most others never share

So set your goals beyond the sky
And if you fail, don't ask why
For in the attempt, you'll find your pride
And heights that others envy, you'll reside.

Premium Member If I Could Be a Kid Again

If I could be a kid again
I’d run headlong, unfettered in the wind,
or pretend I was Tom Sawyer
or Huckleberry Finn.

I’d put frogs inside my teachers desk
and tie knots in young girls hair,
if I could be a kid again
I’d shoot arrows up in the air.

Aiming high into the sky
towards an enemy in my head,
perhaps a passing birthday balloon
or a flying elephant instead.

School would be vague memories
of playing hooky left and right,
while fishing in my favorite pond
every morning, noon, and night.

I’d run around my little town
like King Arthur in my world,
eating ice cream and candy bars
while chasing girls and squirrels.

If I could be a kid again
I would count the stars at night,
just like how we used to do
with a full moon burning bright.

When all the world was made for me
And my nickel candy drops,
I always shared with my good friends,
and those I loved a lot.

But if I could be a kid again
and start over back in time,
I’d have to say “No thanks, today,
I’ve enjoyed the hills I’ve climbed.”

I had my run and it was fun
but time keeps ticking by,
if I could be a kid again
I guess I’d like to fly.

Premium Member Archery

Clout on target
Eye you can't forget
A dot like a tv set
No winking eye you let
Aiming high or low
Stretched or loose you throw
Arrows you release or blow
Prize you do not show.
Archer you know in you
With bow and arrow of you
Archery is your life in a game
Name in flame you lit without shame.

Blankness staunch
Doll on tethers view.
Mooring void
Aiming high
One choice is on the table.
To gaze through the dark

Strange Tale

Deep in the world
but I'm not a miner,
Aiming high at the majors
Dreams as sweet as cherry
That red dot on the hill,
How it elevated her,
She be laughing
so I pulled the strings
Down goes Jill,
No cow or bull
Is going to jump
 over this moon,

High in the sky playing my tunes
A fly flies and a lion rules,
O lord, O lord, O lord
Bless me please!
with Jewels and
Gold coated ribbons,
Black robes and
red garments for her
New shoes, blue cars
Oh almost forgot,
A pony and a household
With rainbows.

A Cow jumps and cat's sing
Don't say i didn't tell you so

Fireworks In the Sky

Oh oh, oh
We’re glistening, yeah yeah

In my imagination, our two souls will align
With avid motivation, there’s no mountain that we can’t climb

We are glistening, like fireworks in the sky
The art of true living, together we can defy
An art of inspiration, we shall mystify
With all anticipation, let’s keep on aiming high

A natural combination, relinquishing control

I'Ve Got Happiness

Verse 1
Each day is a miracle, unique, inimitable
I’m right on time, it’s time to shine
Great companions by my side
Steps I took illogically, questioning intrinsically
A lesson shown, it’s mine to own
Thankfulness for I am not alone

Chorus
Of all that seemed impossible, my time to claim the incredible
The journey may be uncomfortable, yet there’s no better place to go
No turning back right through the pages, evolution comes in stages
I’ll take a step with confidence, come rain or shine
I’ve got happiness

Verse 2
Wholesomeness and honesty, valuing validity
To truly see, the best in me
To gain progress with clarity
Of no mind to vacillate, onward steps towards the gate
A clearer sky, I’m aiming high
Lest the journey passes me by

Chorus

Bridge
Train your reach towards the sky
With magnitude you’ll amplify
There’s no need to justify
To truly know, oh
Is to truly try

Chorus

The Archer

The archer stood very still by the oceans edge
His target was a buoy, tossed far from his ledge

Aiming high against the sky he let his arrow go
Elements unforgiving bounced the buoy to and fro

The archer through experience had adjusted aim
In account the wind and waves he aspired to tame

Although the arrow missed it's mark, it was quite close
Few could call that chosen path that he would diagnose

In life the ones who love you, can help form a plan
About the wind and waves, and where you might land

What you might encounter I don't pretend to know
But with a plan you just might land where you want to go!

Sorry My Dear Sister

When I think back in times anew
Consider all in stark review
about those days my Sister
scarred my heart

To recall nights I heard her cry
Whilst I did everything to try
drown out her sense of terror
from my mind

I’d plunge down deep beneath safe sheets
there wait until the ghoul defeats
that child who still worships all
his grimaced mask might say

I wish now I could lock her door
then melt the key to just make sure
those muffling hands could not reach out
to feast upon his Daughters soul again

My trembling arms would draw her near
then somehow overcome all fear
to show her she need never be
afraid of him again

I’d rise up for the chance to try
to stare her demon in the eye
and tell him that her beauty wasn’t
ever his to take

I'd take a gun and aiming high
his filthy brains would wash pure sky
then place the barrel in my mouth
and squeeze

Profound

Aren’t we all

at one time to someone

just as the world is round

unique and forthright

aspirations abound

aiming high with targets set

striving and relentless

eventually a proclamation said

how certainly profound

Premium Member The Men of Clay - Galmi

He walks, hardly touching earth,
His arms provoke cerulean sky
As wings about to try and fly:
Raising a new eternal bird.
A swan, yet not about to die
                                  Instead a phoenix in disguise
                                  Refuting all existing lies
                                  Refusing low, now aiming high
They walk their muted life away
Reminder of his life on earth
His former life of lack and dearth
Inside of him they'll always stay
