Have to win this race
I'm losing face at a pace
Running out of breath
I've got a peace plan
I'll come first and you second
It sounds good to me
Do you not agree
Should not have started this war
Back to where we were
I could have been updated
Like some computer system
Not terribly frustrated
At being a system’s victim
I take it as it comes
Like it supposed to be
What happens more than once
Compels you to agree
But anyhow it’s good
Just at this very moment
I never thought it should
Turn over to a torment
It was a pleasant day
Most of the time I slept
The heat dictates the way
How moments must be spent.
A face like this belongs on the big screen.
So many people need a smile and a laugh.
Be it plain silly or absolute fantasy ~

Why do we always
agree to disagree
instead
of agreeing to see
the harmony
in eye-eye
possibilities.
See
if you can follow
me.
If we let go
of what we believe
to our duty
to make
the other person
see
our point of view,
if we dispensed
with the energy
we
erroneously put in
to desperately
want to be right,
we just might create
a peacefulness
that can set us free
from always wanting
to be right.
Understand?,
If we always agree
to disagree,
instead of agreeing
to see
the harmony
in surrendering
to the reality,
to the possibility
that just possibly
someone else's
point of view
actually
has merit,
we will never see
the beauty
in humility,
and realize
the other person's
point of view
is valid too.
It's simple
mathematics..
Follow me.
We always agree
to disagree,
which is why
we
are always
at each other's
throats,
and when we do
this,
we are not part
of the solution,
but a part
of the problem.
We cannot agree
because we are coming from different places
diverse experiences
some of us are only children
others had six siblings
some had parents who disappeared or ran off
others had parents who are still hovering over them in their forties
some worked during high school
others have never held a job
different people
our upbringing was not the same
our traditions, cultures and rules are varied
different neighbors, different schools, different pets
or no pets at all
there is no way we can agree
identical twins had a different sibling
You condemn me in a way
That might be explicit
I agree with what you say
And I’m living with it
Every single day while you
Photograph the skies
From your bedroom with a view
You can see for miles
Your back garden pots are white
So is the olive tree
Snow keeps falling, changing sight
Which I cannot see
It’s a bit too far away
From my window pane
I agree with what you say
Who’s but me to blame..
since I retired ever day is a weekend
I can do what I want or see a friend
I like being alone, because we agree
my interests, my likes and little old me
God’s consistent plan as tapestried for man's soul shine
and blessing-stitched with enriched knowledge threads divine,
decrees that His cherished children each faithfully heed
all spiritual growth their pains may gain when hearts bleed.
Since the first sad tears from first eyes shed thundered rain,
God has lovingly, universally issued and used pain
that His children will yearn to call His name for insight.
Without dark as hurt fraught, many would never seek His light.
Wounds serve to swerve us towards knowledge beyond ourselves
for answers His perfect love-light shines brighter than all else.
I'm not like you
you're not like me
on that
you and I
we can agree
but
strange to say
and there's no mystique
Snap!
we're really all the same
in that...
we are all unique
the world is bleeding
fighting never-ending wars
that began and raged
with beliefs and politics ~
peace never, in consensus
Let's just agree - 'to beg to differ'
What is there to say now
What is left to be said
Has it not all been expressed
Let’s refrain from speaking further words
Discussion can turn into argument
So let’s just walk away agreeing to disagree
We do not have to agree to be friends
I respect all your views
You are my closest friend
Yet we don’t always agree
But that doesn’t have to tear our friendship
We are too mature for such foolishness
We can always accept agreeing to disagree
Let’s vow to keep our friendship true and strong
You always show respect
For I am your close friend
Though we sometimes disagree
There is no need for us to argue
It is good we can rise above the fray
And live our lives as friends agreeing to disagree
And communicate adult- to-adult
We value each other
And give ear to our views
We have so much in common
Which is the basis of our friendship
A strong bond and relationship each day
So let’s model how true relationships are maintained
Friendship is one of the greatest treasures
Surely on this we can agree
Friendship transcends full agreement
On all matters in life
Back in the days
of yesterday and today, or,
traditions and contemporaries
... she came.
Yesterday and tradition say ...
leave your things home, she'll leave your things alone.
Today and contemporaries say ...
in so many words ... heart heeds all abilities.
Yesterday and tradition say ...
you leave, she leaves, or you take, she takes.
Today and contemporaries say ...
that theirs were words of comfort.
She came and they left ... she never came back, nor did they, except one, me, [oldest parents and siblings passed]--I'm the lone inheritor, with a piece of paper of a new sizeable land and redesigned coastline, turned into a new land deed, along with my new will, --sits in a bank, I, in a beach townhouse in Hilo town. All three (3) are well-deposited earning interests, one happily due in ~June~.
Hens don't quack
and ducks don't cluck
but I don't give
a flying thwuck
By a hornet
I just got bit
Watched it swell
Cried, "O, Shlitz!"
Brother got sucker-punched
and fell to the grass
I kicked the aggressor
in his friggin' face
So, my friends, as you can see
bad words do not agree with me
If ever to use one you are tempted
Let your !$^&$%&$^&$^& tongue prevent it!
My wife and I agree
She always wins
I never lose
On High this was decreed
always will agree
exactly who we may be
you along with me
