High on life
I was high on life
Not walking on water
But soaring above the clouds
Free from the rain
Immune to the darkness
Now I settle in the depths
Gazing up at the warped sunshine
Turbulent waters
Was this where I was before?

Tenacity for Life

Simply it's my life 
Full of tensions and problems,
But I never give up 
Cause I'm stubborn in it all,
I have passion for doing 
All that I want, want heartly,
I always face all the 
Troubles, problems and negativity.

Yet, sometimes I tir 
All of it, that happen bad,
Sometimes I can't 
Bear all interruptions in my work,
But I

Ironically,
it’s cheaper to live than die:
Save, self-cremation:-
Even then, you must pay for
The ashes to be cleaned up:-
And don’t forget, the family
Is charged to pay off all debts
That you may have left behind:-
Ironically,
We are born to live and die,
Life, being cheaper:
Funerals are expensive!

In all life’s seasons,
Each day has its three
To be: yesterday, today,
And its tomorrow:-

Today was yesterday’s 
Tomorrow, and will become
Tomorrow’s yesterday,
Which will become a today:-

No matter the day or
The season, give God the praise
For today, which was yesterday’s
Prayed for tomorrow:-

Thus, be the blessed days
That are bestowed upon us
In travelling

Life Is A Gamble

There is a town that is so enchanting,
at it’s center a strip of wild saloons.
A hidden game’s still in play enticing
gentlemen with a lust for golden spoons.
While holding a Joker’s hand start betting
you may get lucky and find the tycoons.
Are you breezy enough to shoot a shot?
Life is a gamble here, like it or not.

Lions shaking all off…
Elephants self showering…
Snakes changing their skins…
Human nature needs cleaning…
Time to wipe out injustice…

IN REALITY OF THE DREAM

All living in peace;
All injustice uprooted:
Justice’s mountain topped:-

All Is Right

The moon, luscious drop,
soothing the chaff of day.

The stars, flocks of grazing 
glitters -- heavenly sheep
tallied till the dawn of
a new and hopeful morn -- 

Our Sun, drawing daily
circles, dearly beloved
earth life’s prime and central 
spark -- 

All is right, with God’s light and dark.

WATCH THE LILIES BLOOM

Ava, our youngest granddaughter, headed off to college yesterday…
And as another milestone is passed….
I wonder how it’s possible the years have flown by so fast.

As I walked up to hug her and say goodbye…and she did the same to me…
my mind immediately flashed backed…to a fond old memory.

It seems like only yesterday…I could see it

Nature of The Beast

It stalks in silent corners of the mind,
a whisper, jagged, dark, and undefined.
Its claws creeps walls we dare not show,
eyes ecstatic where our hearts should glow.

It scoff on mistrust, on every hidden fear,
gnawing at the edges of what we hold dear,
A silent growl underneath the laughing sound--
A truth too fierce to face the day unbound...

Yet

Steps

Another season in life
A time of activation
Celebration, rejuvenation
In due time
Unwind, renewal of mind
Enjoying the sunshine.

Steps in another direction
Steps for better
Steps seriously taken
Steps not forsaken. 

When the Stars Looked My Way

rain fell with riddles
chalk dust tumbled from my hands
I loved the schoolyard —
learned questions I did not asked—
left un-quenched thirst in my mouth

seashell in my hand
I pressed it hard to my ear
I heard sea strumming —
calling me like it knew me
until tide drew my voyage

clocks ran without me
their teeth grinding daylight down
turning gold to dust

Fool's Errand

From his bottle, Grandpa took a sip. 
I gazed sleepily at his bottle ship. 
Grandpa said that life could be so cruel. 
Grandma said, your grandpa is a fool. 
Grandpa ran his mouth from his chair and
Grandma said he always runs a fool's errand.
Grandpa said he sought the Holy Grail, 
but he came up empty

Offered my respects

what could i do
but stop and let pass
the funeral procession
for a beloved horse 
who lived a life
fraught with nobility
