Memory

Sitting in a tea-house
drinking a cup of Earl grey tea
to kill the time
in a place where all customers were
house painters
 or house builders
Then an old man
entered ordered a tea
and began to talk
about the eye glasses
that he found in the street
wanted to sell it
All men looked at him
by kind of a smile
After a minute
one man came to him
and asked for a try
Then he paid fifty pennies
and bought it
saying that
it was very good
and he could see better than before
It was a great deal
That I will never forget.

Premium Member Post a Poem

Write a poem you think it is good
post it as you know you should
No one seems to like it at all
for so few read it that poem falls
down down to the ho hums
you read it again not that dumb
But so it goes keep it real

A poem you are uncertain of
haven't post it because
It just to you kinda bad
no one will see it go ahead
post it and numbers you never seen
compliments given for this thing
For you the poem can't feel
but on Poetry Soup liked a great deal

Don't quit write more and more
a poem is something you are never sure
If you like it while no one else does
still it's yours, later on it could get some love
You write poetry because you do
no matter what you are sharing you.

Premium Member What The Poets Say

The poets always say,
whatever they want to.
Brilliant facets chosen
with a great deal of care.
No stanza’s saccharin.

The poets always say,
it’s written in the stars.
Kismet and wanderlust
transform us everyday .
In the process we trust.

The poets always say
complex lines so clearly.
Fifty cents or a dime,
words will fall in order.
All that’s needed is time.

The poets always say,
the Muse will inspire you.
Tears allow ink to flow.
Plant poetry in clouds
words transform into rain.

Adversary Created

Next, if we should meet, it would take a great deal
of restraint to maintain a kind heart.

In all pleading and attempts at understanding,
remained an underlying distrust.

The disbelief of misplacing money,
extended by the feeling like a joke.
No room for Ha-Ha's / ain't a damn thing funny.

Sent into a position that would not budge.
Determination fixed, sent whirling and twirling with
zero fact 'n no time flat.

A suspicious umbra you put me on.

Fueled by a disbelief without reason.

The distance closing / violence quickly approaching.

Told keep it, all the while never having it.
no longer having it,
you let me have it.

Remaining respectful.
Shame on me / force of habit.

It's clear truth doesn't represent yourself.
Now I'll knock that picture off your shelf.

God question

to believe in God
means a great deal more than to
believe God exists

You: Grief

They tell you it gets better
And I used to think that was true,
But that was before I met you.

You came to me like a moth to a flame,
Turned from the love that consumed my heart.
A dark figure clad in all black,
Nothing good to come from you.

You walked into my life
Without my consent,
Changed the way I was
And possibly who I will be;
I don't recognise myself
The way I used to.

You took parts of me
That meant a great deal
And you hole it up in a cage;
I can't find the key.

Sleep has become difficult
Since you found your way to me,
And though I beg and plea,
Hoping for you to leave,
You never truly do,
In fact, you always refuse to,
Following me like a shadow,
Clinging to my skin
Until we are one.

You took away
The most important parts of me
Yet anger does not appear,
For it was not you who took it away,
Nor had you snatched them,
You formed out of the love
Left behind
When they left me.

Still, I am unforgiving
For though I cannot
Begin to imagine
Befriending you, Grief,
I cannot accept
That they will never come back
Yet you will forever remain -
The darkest parts of me
Or as you know by name:

Grief.

Codec Bitrate

thoughts accompanied by whispering words of love
I turned my head to find her
beautiful face pressing against her pillow
it made me wish she was woke.
as I turned to sleep she reached out and hugged me.
Moring found us tired and wanting to sleep
as we had been woke all night From the night
the serenade to mornings.aubade, she remained
in her perfect beauty . Pachycephala tenebrosa the
birds of morning sung perfect creating the most
romantic sound.Chiffchaff, Wren,House Sparrows

were ' l'aube du matin chorus or : the "chorus of the Dawn
" we sat and watch nature bring us together.
'A picturesque scene, the deepest connection to
romance". The orange juice tasted a little sweeter, and the coffee was
a great deal bolder. The omelets and toast
got right where they needed to be. And that day I became more aware
of how nature and love appreciation connect.
And how the beauty of nature and interconnectedness of love
are gifts to lovers. It's heard in the sounds and songs
and felt in the love we have and share.

Perseverance

A great deal of pain weighs our heart as we walk gently through this hallway of life.
All because we're blind, we stumble our feet,
We don't watch our steps but mind them earnestly.
Though there're obstacles and we stumble and fall, we keep on walking.

Unlike those who see, the hallway is theirs to jump and run through.

The Storm of the Sea

A giant storm is brewing
Because the wind is howling with the sharpness of the cold
Calculating blades of the great and weak
Destroyers and defenders of oppositional forces
Encapsulating one another in a great deal that starts to die in the great
Fire which burns brightly into the night prior to the people
Gorging their bellies full of drink and food while
Having the storm outside howl with loudness and
Intense beats upon the house of the leader, who we call the
Jarl, that gathers their people in the great hall to keep them safe from the
Killing storm outside of the great house, their concern of
Love is the purest form of respect
Manifesting into something
New and not confusing as it is an
Original concept that needs no
Proper introduction because it is the only
Quick explanation for
Righteousness
Self-less service
Tactfulness and a deep
Understanding, that would shock a person in the manner of a larger
Voltage
Wishing to only become part of a unit that does not
Wallow in the misery of others as the current
X-men focus on becoming different members of the world

There's ah rhythm to this
There's a kinda groove

My Abdomen

My Abdomen

A great amount has been recorded about
my 17-year-old abdomen. My pale stomach and intestines talk
a great deal and
sleep much less.
I shut them up and
keep them awake by
drinking sludge.
Remember: for perfect abdominal muscles consume the pus from
zits.
