A Moment Poems - Poems about A Moment

A moment

Drenched in rains
The girl returns home
White and black
Sandals are wet too
Pushes back the
wooden shutters
of the closed window
From the box of oxygen
Releases a pink breath
Mild sound falls
on the leaves _
Smiling Gardenia

Leaving the photo
for the album
The time vanishes
into the inexplicable
grey mist

For a moment

For a moment I took pleasure
On the fact that you existed
You were there
Silent
Withdrawn
But wise
Oh so wise

I felt I could talk to you
As if I talked to the moon
And God you could understand.

Premium MemberIn a moment suspended between the silent beats of time and infinity

In a moment suspended between the silent beats of time and infinity,
The miracle of love settled like a mist, almost untouchable, yet so tangible,
It was better than any dream drawn on the sky of a starless night,
It was like a precious object you could lift, gaze at, and keep in memory,
We found ourselves on the

Give me a moment
Give me a moment
to collect my words of love
and share them with you

give me a chance to
express emotions of love
with a touch of you

give me your left hand
for it bears a trace of love
and it speaks of you

A moment in life I’ll never forget

April 24th 2018
time stood still
for I thought it was just another argument between my mother and father
was actually my mothers breaking point.
as the sun was setting and I was doing my best to distract the little ones
I heard her cry for help calling my name,
begging me to come
I flew a down the stairs

Premium MemberYesterday in a Moment

Soon dawn at plum morn
though pearly moon still keeps watch,
for the golden end.
Afternoon's recalled in dreams
adorned in wild color schemes.

Memory Lane sleeps
as orange noon is coming,
after dusk scarlet.
Lemon-lime hours revisit
and bluebird returns vivid.

Pink skies are coming
a jade past is repeating,
since tomorrow's gone.
Time's fallen asleep, at last
skewing the future and past.

Moments come and moments go
    as time keeps marching on;
hold me now and kiss me slow
‘fore sunlight breaks with morning dawn,
and wills this precious moment gone.

You caught me smiling in a moment
Because your love has made its way to my heart
Into my heart
You caught me smiling in a moment
Because you are the one I have been waiting for
Waiting for
You caught me smiling in a moment
As you pass me by
Passing by
You caught me smiling in a moment
Now I am face

A moment

The room was small;
There was street graffiti on the wall
And a bed next to it;
They were both on the bed
And he was on the top of her;

To her,
It was peculiar with this boy,
She couldn’t stop gazing,
At the face expressions he had.
In the face as he was making his way into her;

She knew,
She would remember this

Premium MemberTake A Moment Today

Have you taken a moment today
To think of the people important to you
Taken the time to talk to them
Or organise a catch-up that’s long overdue

Have you hugged a loved one today
Or simply said “ I love you”
Told them how much they mean to you
Or reached out to someone who’s feeling blue?

When was the last time

A moment with you

The moments with you
Fill my heart with joy
The moments with you
Linger like a soft fabric

The moments with you
Leave me spellbound and dosed
The moments with you
Makes the next much more meaningful

I wish these moments
Could fill our lives
This is not to say
There's anything wrong now

I just know
Fruit would taste sweeter
Music would ring clearer
The fire in our

a moment alone

~

a moment alone
this fleeting affair
of solitude sighs
unlikely to share
some daydream beliefs
with wildflower dreams
and fingers entwined
midst dark silent screams
where shadows elope
and coral vine weaves
a soft comfy couch,
in three-quarter sleeves
for stress to escape
so pain can subside
away from the noise
a dark place to hide
so tensions can heal
and nervousness split
while clenching a fist
or throwing a fit
as cloudy days sing
and

She said she’d be a minute, that she’d be there in a mo
She called down stairs, “Give me a tick, then I’ll be set to go.”
She said she’d be down shortly, that she’d be down in a flash
She said, “Two shakes of a lamb’s tail and then we’re set to dash.”

She said she’d be no
