Want to share a wonderful story I read
For about two years ago my wife and I on a cruice In the Caribbean on a luxury Cruise.
At the dinner table we discovered an elderly lady who was sitting alone beside the railing at a tremendous stairways in the main dining room.
I also noticed that the entire crew, the ship's officers, waiters, servants, etc. Everyone seemed to be very familiar with this elderly lady.
... I asked our waiter if he knew who this lady was, and waited for him to say that she owns this cruice ship!
But he said only that he knew she had been a guest aboard the last 4 cruises, back and forth.
When we left the dining room one evening, I stopped beside her to say hello.
We fell into conversation, and I said, "I have understood that you have been aboard In one stretch In total 4 cruise crossings".
She replied, "Sure, that's right absolutely precisely that."
I said, "I do not quite understand ...."
When she answered, without delay, "It's cheaper than staying in a nursing home!".
There will never be anything nursing home for my part in the future.
When I get old and frail, so I'm going to take me a long cruise on a Princess Cruise Ship.
The average cost of a nursing home is 1,200 Norwegian kroner per day.
I've checked the reservation prices for a cruice ships and I can get long term discount and senior discount to 810 Norwegian kroner per day.
That means I have 390 Norwegian kroner day for other purposes
1. Additional costs will not exceed 60 Norwegian kroner day.
2. I can have as much as 10 meals a day if I manage to infringe me to the restaurant, or I can get the room service (which means I can get breakfast in bed every day).
3. This cruice ship has as many as three swimming pools, fitness room, free washers and dryers and there are stage shows every evening.
4. They have free toothpaste and razors, and free soap and shampoo
5 They will even treat you like a guest and customer, not a patient! An additional 30-40 Norwegian kroner tips will get the whole crew to do everything for you !!
6. I can meet new people every 7 or 14 days.
7. If the television is broken? Replacing defective light bulbs? Need a new mattress? No problem! They're going to fix everything and apologize for the discomfort that you might have had!
8. Clean sheets, linens and towels every day, and you should not even ask about it!
9. If you fall in the nursing home and breaks a leg being a bedridden patient; if you do the same board In the Cruise ship, they're going to upgrade your stay on board to a suite for the rest of your life !!
And then comes the best part: Would you like to see South America, Panama - Canal, Tahiti, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, or you name it? They will always have a ship ready to sail there!
So do not look for me in a nursing home, you have to call me on the satellite phone from the shore!
P.S. If you die, they just throw your body and a bouquet of roses on the ocean .... absolutely free
