Can you hear the birds sing inspiration and words of hope The echoes of a poet's passion When the white clouds sail over me poetry from the sky roses of love Mysterious joys I long for haunts me in my sleep Poetry is my heart and life, means and gives so much Free as words, scale in heaven's staircase If it wasn't for poetry it would be the eclipse of the centuries In this brief delusion that we call life poetry colors my life in a positive way Wordy and rich I wish to paint nature - and never let the praise die
