It does seem that the cold and ice touches everything and even the sky gets involved. You put it all together. It's a powerful scene. How much colder can it get?

And like your final image, you spared nothing with your creative freshness and so reflects your intimate knowledge of the many faces of winter! Such a powerful sijo! Best wishes for the contest!
