Hello All,

I have been pugging away daily at get my writing out of the Soup Pot and into the larger world. [I am never leaving here so no worries!] Today the on line Magazine Pyrokenections has three of my verses UP that you have not read!

Congratulations Cher!! I see book signing tours and talk shows in your future...I followed your recommendation on Wilderness House and they have tentatively agreed to publish three of mine (Pinch me please) Also, check out Hoot & Hare Magazine who are using two of my funny(?) poems...I think they prefer humor and SO many poets here (including you) do hilarious stuff...Mandy, Licia H, and Barbara G, are you listening? Enough with the rambling already!...

On the way now! WAY TO GO, SIS! Keep going keep going! The trail is blazing... hey, just to share, we had a severe thunderstorm here in the region, holy shmokes! A tree was split just in front of our building. The wind was terrifying. I kept Verity away from the windows... there are still some places without power. I watched as it rained horizontally --- odd to watch, like rain drops dripping towards a ceiling. Glad it is over. Made me realize how fortunate my area is.. we do not have hurricanes, tropical storms...

One, I remember very well ;-) The other made me feel even closer to you... I picked berries when I was a young teen living in rural Ontario (newly sprung from a big city and bedazzled by fields and sun) But TOBACCO? Lord, I know that is ROUGH! Will try to find my published piece to send you, in an anthology for a UNION, lol

Your work shines, Debbie! You deserve to be read......kudos for making it to this level. That first poem, sexy, sensual, and "amusing" without needing to shout! The poem of summer........that was my favorite! Great works should be read!!

Congratulations, Debs. CAn't find a way to comment to poems there, but I enjoyed what was posted of yours. Very unique imagery. I think that is what got you published with them; the style that you use is the kind they favor.
