Winter (Do Not Forget Among the Loss of Flowers) Me

winter do not forget among the loss of flowers me beneath your death of snow do not forget that bird of sun the trees gave down there bending branches to light the grass where love made little flowers do not forget my love the lights most fragile gift the sky bowed low to give a blushing praise to the joyful dance of star and moon do not forget the nesting hope of spring the freed sparrow of your fingers the silence more deep then words remember me in the summerless field the slender moment bereft of rain before life and you became

I think you're talking about Mother Nature. Your lines are strong. I'm digging your line breaks. Congrats on the feature. Line 9, "lights" or "light's"?

I thought this should been much higher in the judging...top 3...this is wonderfully penned and completely relocates the reader to another place...another spirit. Excellent...almost plain in its clearness of beauty... by "plain" I mean a compliment in its unclutteredness, yet detailed in expression.
