What to Submit?
This form is sometimes referred to as a nonsense rhyme, but since PS has no nonsence rhyme listed in the poem types just use the rhyme form. So a great example of a nonsence poem that I love is called "One Bright Night" there are many versions of this poem from all over the world. The version I have known since my childhood goes like this.
ONE BRIGHT NIGHT
One bright day in the middle of the night, two dead men got up to fight.
Back to back they faced each other, and drew their swords and shot each other.
A deaf policemen heard the noise, and saved the lives of the two dead boys.
If you don't believe this tale is true, go ask the blind women she saw it too.
I have written an example titled " The Lone Boys Brother" if you want to see what I'm looking for.
Can't wait to read your entries...this should be fun!
There will be multiple prizes but only one 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishes.
