What to Submit?

We are all on a long journey, travelling a map with unique landscapes of our life.  Where are you on the map of your life? Can you empty your soul and tell us.  I will give you four forms and six theme options to empty your soul in words.

DATED, (beginning with Novemeber 8)

ONLY FORMS ACCEPTED IN THIS CONTEST:

1.  Rubaiyat x 6 verses of aaba, 24 lines

2.  Dizain, 2 verse of ababbccdcd, thats 10 lines, twice is 20 lines 

     **not the soup example that splits the verse

3.  Choka x 3 verses of 6 lines 5/7/7/5/7/7 syllables, 18 lines

4.  Quatrain x 4 verses of 4 lines, 2&4 rhyme, 16 lines

I am not looking for a poem about a tranquil lake or an enchanted forest or an island but is your life like a tranquil lake? or an enchanted forest?   Are you trapped in Shouldville, you know that voice inside telling you do this, you should have done that, are you haunted with shouldhaves. etc, etc,   (If you are not sure what I want, soupmail me.)

 

Judging will be December 8 or when 35 poems entered.

Preparing Your Entry**

Check spelling, grammar, punctuation(if used), rhyming, syllables, presentation (because I will check).  Make sure correct form used, theme and title.  I will use HowManySyllables and www.Rhymer.com and Rhymezone.com. Audio, video, images are all acceptable for this contest. Creativity allowed too!  Adding this sponsors name and contest at the bottom is in my opinion, respectful but is optional.
