On Tranquil Lake

Through life, a few times I have wandered down corridors of uncertainty. Meanwhile, in an enchanted forest I have often wished that I could be. I got to spend a few times in that forest. So beautiful it was that now it seems when I look back on those days, I feel like I’ve steered toward an island of broken dreams! But that island isn’t necessary. There hasn’t been too bitter of a pill I’ve had to swallow! I should say instead I’ve often found myself in Shouldaville! But thankfully, I’ve rarely had to dwell in the Valley of Loss or horrid strife. On Tranquil Lake is where you will find me most often, for I’m happy with my life. Nov. 21, 2017

Wonderful write, Andrea, rife with truth and beauty ... I'm glad you have found happiness, something many of us are still seeking, (though I think the journey lies inside). Congratulations on your well-deserved win, my friend - blessings!

A strong write, Andrea, typifies your attitude- a mixture of 'Always look on the bright side of life' and our British 'keep calm and carry on'. Congrats! Viv

Laying your soul bare is never easy, but you have done it without drama or ado, Andrea. I think that you have described your life like I see it: hardly ever over-reacting whilst staying calm and taking things in your stride. ~ Regards // paul

Andrea, I think all of us have gone done each corridor at some lint in our lives; I am happy to hear you reside on Tranquil Lake. All the best! John

This is so deep, we all wander through these corridors Andrea.. the most important thing is to find the right exit... A tranquil lake would be an excellent place, or a beautiful waterfall, that where I am... Good luck in the contest..
