A fruity haiku Poetry Contest

What to Submit?

1. One new haiku with a fruit theme. Please add a fruit in your poem. Example, peach, apple, pear, orange, etc.

2. Title is the fruit your poem is about, one word title, Example; peach, lower case!

3. All Lower case letters and title. Please read that again!!!! 

4. 5 7 5 syllable counts, in that order, no exceptions.

5. Please add a ~, - or ... after your second line. 

8. No religous themes or human emotions, prefer nature themed poems.

Prizes

There will be multiple placements.

Preparing Your Entry

Submit one copy of your poem online. Format your poem. Please make your entry easy to read — no illustrations or fancy fonts. 

English Language

Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.

No names on poems.
