Big congrats. I was expecting a fart poem for raspberries from you. Maybe they don't use it that way in England. By the way, it's in my top five favorite fruit.

Hi Jan, my favourite poetic form and my favourite pastime, eating. Well you are on a winner here with me. I just want to dive into that bowl of words and raspberries. I am now salivating of course. Now I have to head for the kitchen. No willpower. A wonderful Haiku. Your friend always ..... Mike. XXX

The season, nor the bowl, last long. Your poem makes me hungry. This story was great.

Jan, a wonderful fruit indeed! The flavor is also such a treat to eat. I wonder how it even came into existence. Lucky for us it did. Smiles!!

I’m struggling to imagine the self control you excersized in responding to the prompt for a ‘fruity’ haiku, Jan. However, I do love a fresh raspberry, (not so much the tougher pips) so your ‘fruity’ haiku hits the spot.

Enjoyed the haiku, everybody's gone fruity around here. It's not my fault that when I looked at the picture, my mind said, "DIVERTICULITIS" (once you feel it, you never forget it). I pray you've been living a fulfilled, healthy life. Love, CayCay

Do you ever write poems inspired by your garden and post an actual picture of it to accompany the write? Over, what, I must think, the past 9 years, you've talked about it here and there, maybe written about it. It has always sounded like both a delicious, generous garden overflow and a beautiful place to spend time in. Before we moved, I had blueberry bushes and just loved picking them when ripe, taking them inside, bathing them ....

Thanks CayCay, the pips sure are irritating for those with stomach issues but they also get in my teeth lol, that said i have lots growing in my garden as the plants have invaded my strawberry patch. i cant wait for the fruit to ripen!! hugs Jan xx
