I was born and raised in northern California in the land of the glorious redwoods. My father worked in the lumber industry and my brother and I had a simple but wonderful childhood. Off to the big city to become a nurse and all these years later I still am. I was married for many years, have 2 grown boys and 2 young grandsons..Jordan and Elliot. Me proud? You betcha..it truly is the best thing about growing older. On my own now and enjoying all that I can cram into my life. I love music.. am a life long member of The Friends of Jose Carreras..poetry and music are my loves.I am a technaphobe..so bear with me while I figure this all out.

New Contest..Apology Accepted

While Im waiting for my Christmas pies to bake, I thought Id post a new contest...BTW..Wishing you all the most peaceful holiday season..full of the love of family and friends.
My contest is about apologizing to someone, about something. Funny or serious..either is accepted. Keep it short please..dont want an ODE to Apologizing...lol
I expect some great writes..maybe something I can use the next time I need to correct an oops...lol Barbara

Maybe Larry Belt will apologize to his mother-in-law. Or perhaps she will apologize to him. "Funny or humorous" sounds good to me, LNC. We could use some laughs this time of year. Merry Christmas. I'll be watching the mail for my slice of pie. LOL Love, Carolyn
