I was born and raised in northern California in the land of the glorious redwoods. My father worked in the lumber industry and my brother and I had a simple but wonderful childhood. Off to the big city to become a nurse and all these years later I still am. I was married for many years, have 2 grown boys and 2 young grandsons..Jordan and Elliot. Me proud? You betcha..it truly is the best thing about growing older. On my own now and enjoying all that I can cram into my life. I love music.. am a life long member of The Friends of Jose Carreras..poetry and music are my loves.I am a technaphobe..so bear with me while I figure this all out.

TIME for a new contest.....

    Hi my friends..please check out my new contest..the theme is

    TIME.. the form " Enclosed Rhyme" ( 1st and 4th lines rhyme---2nd

    and 3rd lines rhyme, in a 4 line stanza). Anything that has some aspect of time will be accepted. I can't wait to see what you can come up with.. please, no names on your poems..I love being surprised when
I finish judging.
Times flying by..get those creative juices flowing...lol.

Sounds very unique and cool BG and Enclosed Rhyme is one of my fav forms my friend.. so will work on it over the weekend and hope to enter a super piece for u ...happy weekend ..with luv..
