I was born and raised in northern California in the land of the glorious redwoods. My father worked in the lumber industry and my brother and I had a simple but wonderful childhood. Off to the big city to become a nurse and all these years later I still am. I was married for many years, have 2 grown boys and 2 young grandsons..Jordan and Elliot. Me proud? You betcha..it truly is the best thing about growing older. On my own now and enjoying all that I can cram into my life. I love music.. am a life long member of The Friends of Jose Carreras..poetry and music are my loves.I am a technaphobe..so bear with me while I figure this all out.

What the heck? WHY?

I have no idea what is going on with my last contest..it is now listed as "open"..but is closed and judged..sorry.. everyone for the confusion..I am as confused as everyone else.

Barbara, do what Roy says and let him enter a poem to make the number 35. Then immediately close and finalize after that. This happened to me one time when I had already judged a contest but I had failed to "finalize" it by "Locking" it. I'll go check and see if it closed out for you by now. Hopefully it did if Roy carried through for you And thanks again for the beautiful little book.

It shows as having only 34 poems. It needs 35 to be closed or else wait until the closing date. Perhaps someone withdrew a poem as you were trying to close it. Also, you need to put in the closed date before it will finalize. If you want to close it, I will put in a poem just so you can make the numbers.

It's not on the contest list nor on the winner's list. That means it needs to be locked and a closing date entered. Under contest administration, click on the contest name and enter the required fields to finalize. Although it was judged, no one can see the results except you until you do this. Cheers, Roy

The thing is..the contest was closed and judged. Andrea came in 1st and I sent her her prize..and now this popped up. Oh Brother...thanks for the offer..I guess we can try that, although Ive gotten in touch with PS..no response.
