It seems that some sweet person has anonymously gifted me a year's membership! How surprised I was to see one of my poems featured among the premium members' poems; I couldn't fathom it as I knew my membership expired last November, but then I went to my member page and saw that it had been renewed on 28th January. I have always believed that the vast majority of people on Poetry Soup are good hearted - despite the ups and downs that occur at times! This anonymous act of kindness and generosity has made me believe that even more. I would really like the person who has renewed my membership to contact me via soup mail so that I can thank him/her personally, but if the person wants to remain anonymous I will respect that. I'm unable to make full use of my membership at the moment due to health issues, and I'm being admitted to hospital on Sunday so it will be some time before I can return properly to the site, but I just wanted to thank the person who renewed my membership. I also wanted to thank those people who have left messages in my inbox and on my poems. I will be back at some point, hopefully with some new contests for you all.
