After a slightly disappointing standard in my previous contest, the standard in this contest was through the roof! There are quite a lot of winners this time - eighteen in all - and I probably could have placed a few more, but I decided to get tough! As usual, I struggled with the numerical placements. I must have read each poem twenty times; dissected them, sliced them, diced them, mixed them up, switched them around! Never let it be said that this is "just an amateur poetry site". Not when people produce work like this, it isn't! A heartfelt thank you to all those who participated, and big congratulations to my eighteen winners!
